Concealed Feelings[COMPLETED]

LAST PART.

Satoshi went inside the house after he wept.

“Bro.” Satoshi calmly called Kei as he put his hand on Kei’s shoulder.

“I-I’m sorry Satoshi..” Kei cried for more.

“You guys should’ve told me earlier.” Satoshi gave him a slight smile to fade away the awkwardness between them.

Satoshi invited Kei to sit on the couch for a while. He has been like, kneeling for hours.

“I didn’t intend to take her back right away. It’s just that, my heart was filled with excitement and pain that all I wanna do is jumped to her and won’t let go of her anymore. I’m sorry; you must have gone mad to me now. You can hit me, Satoshi. Make me go numb and take her away from me. I mean like, forever.” Kei recklessly said.

“Geez man, are you for real?!” Satoshi was shocked. Such a man that would easily tell his feelings to a guy as well. The thing that Kristen might have loved about him yet she didn’t know. Kei was dumbfounded with Satoshi’s reaction.

“Eh?”

Satoshi was about to spill out something when Kristen had just regained her consciousness.

“Unn.” She mumbled moving around to have a clear vision where she is.

Satoshi ran to her.

“Are you now okay?” Satoshi asked her with care.

Kristen helplessly cried in front of Satoshi.

“I’m sorry Satoshi. I didn’t mean to betray you. You know that you’re the only one who stood beside me when I was in despair. I can't hurt you, il feel burned and broken.” Kristen explained to her boyfriend.

She doesn’t really care if Kei have heard about it. The guilt she has is giving her a hard time. On the other side, Kei was hurt with what have Kristen said. He understands her, he needs to.

“Ssh. Stop crying. It’s okay babe.” He said as he comforts her on his shoulders. She just won’t stop weeping. She really feels bad that Satoshi needs to be in this situation. He doesn’t deserve to feel betrayed because of what Kei and I had before, she thought.

“Can I t-talk to you, K-Kristen?” Kei asked, trembling.

It can be seen on her eyes that she doesn’t wanna go and talk to him but Satoshi asked her to, so she went along.

Her house is located near at the beach so they planned to just go there and discuss what they need to discuss. On the other hand, Satoshi was left alone.

Kei held Kristen’s hand while they’re walking along the shore. Kristen wants to let go but she would’ve been rude if she does that.

“I’ve missed this.” Kei started.

“I’ve missed being with you even if this means goodbye.” He added.

“Can’t I have you back anymore?” His voice was cracking. He was about to cry. Kristen can feel the agony he has.

“I’m sorry.” Kristen uttered as she stopped walking along with him.

“I’m sorry Kei. I still may not have forgotten the pain I’ve got from you but it doesn’t mean I’ll be gone in your life. We can still be friends.” She comforted him.

“Should I be happy because you won’t be gone in my life? Or be sad because you’re telling me we’re really over?” Kei lowered his head.

Kristen touched Kei’s face, he’s feeling cold. She hugged her tightly. She can say that he didn’t gain weight but instead, he loses some. Is this how it had been hard for him? She thought. She misses to be locked in his arms, in his body. But she doesn’t feel the same way for him anymore. Satoshi have taken the spot in her heart already, gladly.

“I wanna love you, Keichan.” Kristen uttered as she’s hugging him.

“But.. I don’t wanna be unfair to Satoshi and to my feelings. Things have already changed. And that goes the same with you too.”

She lifted her head and looked at his lips for seconds. She kissed him and stayed still for a long time. She wants to cherish the last moment with him.

“I don’t want to hurt you, Keichan. Understand me, for once.” She thought.

She regained her position and saw Kei, crying.

“I’m very thankful I’ve met someone like you, Tenchan. I may not be able to have you but I believe, I’ll have someone like you whom I deserve in the future. I’ve loved you Tenchan and I always will” Kei told her hugging her back.

She let tears fall from her eyes. Finally, no more pain will hold her back. Things have been cleared. She can now live with no worries. She’ll now go over with her life with Satoshi, as her boyfriend and Kei, as her friend.

It must’ve been difficult for Kei to totally let her go but it would’ve been better if he did. Love is not always about fighting for your feelings, especially if it turns out as an unrequited one. Happiness for your loved one is priceless, that you alone can give to her.

Satoshi may be hurt and was ready to give Kristen up but he just won’t, now that he knows Kristen’s love is still his. He didn’t think that he had won over Kei because in life of Kristen, Kei has been a very part of it.

KEI’S POV:

“I’ll stay beside you. You may not be mine but I’m still yours.”

KRISTEN’S POV:

“I don’t need much attention of you now. I’ve found someone to fulfill the space you’ve left but I’m gonna be needing you as my friend.”
