[ 7:02 P.M    8th October 2017]

The phone rang through the empty rooms. It could barely be heard over the noise of the wind whistling through the open windows. There was no sight of moon or stars as far as binoculars could give you the access. The entire sky was pitch black, indicating nothing but a very urgent rain.

The voice of the phone echoed in her vacant brain as she hugged the blanket close to herself. The cold air blew away her hair but she didn't close the windows. The cold air seemed to take away all her problems with itself as it roamed  freely , something she could not.

She stood up, dragging her numb feet to the mahogany table where the phone still rang.

An unknown number flashed across the screen, not that she had many numbers saved. The phone stoped ringing before she could attend it and she sighed. She didn't even get the chance to try out her luck.

But just as she turned around, the phone blared again. A new number, still unknown though, crossedd her sight. She didn't  waste time to answer it that time.

"Hello?'

She was met by an prolonged period of silence with an occasional shuffle at the other end.

"Just talk, Goddamit!"

"Hey. Is this Pizza hut?'

"Uh..No. You called the wro-"

"Ok, cool. I will like to order two extra large supreme pizza with extra pepperoni and cheese."

"What the heck. This isn't-"

"Oh and make the drinks large size while you are at it."

"I need a brownie too."

"Man this is Pizza hut, not your Grandma's kitchen."

"No, seriously ask them. I heard they give brownies too."

"Hey, we heard you give brownies too, make it....five.'

"I'm gonna report your number! This is not Pizza hut you idiot."

"Sweetheart you know the address.... Yeah I will be waiting. Bye."

With that he hung up the phone. She couldn't feel anything but weird after such a bizzare encounter with a stranger over the phone. Her thoughts wandered to her father who always told her not to talk to strangers but she could just not get her self to drop the line.

He turned around to his friends who looked at him expectantly. He was met by a wave of relief as all of them looked content. He had lost the most pathetic bet in the history of horny teenager's bets. The things he had to do to be one of the cool ones. They asked him to order pizza for them but he was too broke for that. But then again weren't they all?

He thought  to call back the poor girl to clear out everything. Maybe sometime later.
