Shane's POV

"So there is absolutely nothing you want for your birthday?" I asked hoping to gather some more ideas for Roy's birthday.

"No. Nothing at all. You're enough for me." He replied tackling me on the bed in a bear hug.

"You're are so full of shit." I laugh from underneath him.

"No I'm not. I'm turning 40. I'm not some 12 year old who needs heaps of gifts." He stood up from the bed and walked into the bathroom.

"Come on there has to be one thing that you want. Even if it is far fetched let me hear it." I coaxed, following him into the bathroom.

"I don't know. A helicopter ride or something, if you're asking for far fetched." Roy said dismissively but in reality he was really helping me out.

"Ok, I'll keep it in mind." I stated ominously.

"You're so stupid." He laughed as he turned on the shower.

"Shut up." I said jokingly pushing him up against the wall.

"Kiss me." He demanded with a smirk on his face. I willingly followed instructions.

"You're going out to dinner with Alaska and Willam right?" He asked as we parted.

"Yeah AAA girls business meeting." I replied as I changed my clothes. Roy gave me a questioning side glance.

"Business? Really?"

"What? It's a brand." I laughed at his facial expressions.

"Yeah and I'm a woman." He replied before he hopped into the shower. I sneaked around and flushed the toilet, waiting for a reaction.

"Holy fuck! Shane!" Roy screamed as the shower became cold.

"Don't question my career." I joked.

"Oh please. Like you have one."

"You really wanna try me again?"

"No... I mean you're such a shining symbol of success. No one could ever surpass your level of creativity and talent." Roy begged, not wanting another cold shower.

"That's what I like to hear." We both began to laugh.

"So let's get down to business." Willam said as we sat down at a table.

"Yeah what are thinking for Roy's birthday?" Alaska questioned as he asked the waiter for water.

"I don't know he wasn't giving me anything." I moped with frustration.

"It's his 40th its gotta be big." Alaska added.

"I've got it! How about a surprise party?" Willam interjected.

"I like that idea." Alaska said after the waiter left.

"I like it, but where?"

"How about the club where you first got together. Have either of you been back there since?" Alaska asked while the wheels in her brain were spinning.

"I don't think so. We both have our shows, so we rarely have club bookings anymore." I replied looking back at all of our recent gigs.

"I'll call the owner now." Willam said as he dialed a number in his phone. He was the best at getting things done.

"Hello. Yes this is Willam."

"I know its been forever since we have talked but I need a huge favor." Willam said in between the owner's ramblings.
