Vic's POV

I've never believed in happy endings. There's no such thing. We all die in the end, it's inevitable. Life is just a long journey to death. Yeah, we get jobs, partners, we go places. But that's all just a distraction. No one can run, no one can hide. I've always believed in love though, I still do.. I just don't think of it like I used to

My eyes flickered open. I groaned. I could feel the warmth of Kellin beside me. 'What's the time?' I whispered. He wrapped his arms around me. I smiled. 'Eight.' He replied. I groaned again. 'What?' He laughed. 'Work?' I said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. He chuckled. I rolled over to face him, confused. 'It's Sunday, silly!' He laughed. I laughed and rubbed my eyes. I must be tired!

I watched Kellin as he climbed out of bed and walked out the door yelling 'I'll put the kettle on!' I smiled. Everything was going so well since I met Kellin. I was just about to walk into the bathroom when I heard a small voice say 'daddy?' It was Copeland. 'Yes, darling?' I asked. The door creaked open. She ran over and wrapped her little arms around my legs. 'What's wrong?' I asked, picking her up and cradling her in my arms. 'I had a nightmare' she cried. I kissed her forehead. 'Shall we go and find your other daddy?' I asked. She nodded. I wiped a falling tear of her face and walked downstairs, with her still wrapped safely in my arms.

'Can I sleep in your room from
Now on?' She asked, sobbing again. 'Shall we ask Daddy?' I said. She sniffed and nodded. I stroked her hair and walked into the kitchen. Kellin saw here and mouthed is she alright? I nodded and mouthed back nightmare. He nodded and took her out of my arms and into his. I watched him as he danced around the kitchen with her, swinging her round by her little legs whilst she giggled and screamed. They were so cute. The kettle had boiled so I grabbed two mugs and placed them on the counter. I poured the boiling water in the mug, but accidentally spilt some on my hand 'shiiizonton!' I yelled, stopping myself from swearing in front of Copeland. Kellin laughed at my poor attempt to change what I was originally going to say.

There was a knock at the door. Who's that? I thought. Then remembered that Copeland was going round her friends house. They met in playgroup and they have play dates every Sunday. Today they were having a sleepover . 'Come on then.' I said and grabbed Copeland's hand. Kellin followed us to the door. Kellin opened the door and Iris, Copeland's friend, came bursting through. Her mom called her and she ran back, taking them both with her.

Kellin looked at me and said 'peace and quiet' I laughed. 'Should we get a takeaway tonight?' Kellin asked. I grinned and nodded. I loved takeaways. We snuggled up on the sofa and put Game of thrones on. We both love that programme but we can hardly ever put it on out of  fear that Copeland might walk in when someone's being stabbed or something similar. I put my head on Kellin's chest and listened to his heart beat. I always did this, it comforted me. I could feel him stroke through my long, brown hair, detangling all the knots in it.

I love being in love.

Kellin's POV
I haven't watched this programme in ages. It's different to how I remember. Vic kept looking up at me and smiling. He looked up at me again but this time he didn't smile, he simply said 'promise you won't leave me.' I would never want to leave him. 'Viccy, I'll never leave you!' I said, shocked that he'd even think that. He smiled and whispered ' I love you.' I smiled back at him and said ' I love you too.'

I've had a couple of relationships in the past, but none of them were like this. We were always there for each other. He made me feel special. I'll never find anyone like Vic again. He was my world.
He's everything to me.
