Vic's POV
The floor felt damp and the air smelt rotten. I slowly opened my eyes. My ribs throbbed and my head was spinning. I was trying to remember what happened, when suddenly I heard a familiar, yet unfriendly, voice say 'had a nice sleep?' I jerked up and rubbed my eyes. This had to be a dream. I punched my arm. Nope. This was real. I stared at my old boss. 'Money.' He said. 'W-what?' I stuttered. 'Give me your money.' He said sternly. I shook my head. He sighed. 'Pity.' He whispered. He started to walk over to me. My heart felt like it was ripping out through my chest. I quickly glanced at my watch. I had been gone for hours! Kellin must be wondering where I was. Right on queue, my phone rang. I picked it up, but it was soon snatched out of my hands.

I jumped up to take it back. But before I could reach out for it, a hand smacked my face, sending me flying to the floor. 'Give it back!' I screamed. He smiled at me and hung up. A tear rolled down my cheek. I sniffed and wiped it off. 'Are you going to give me your money now?' Mr McCracken asked, impatiently. I stared at him. 'How m-much?' I asked. He chuckled sinisterly. 'All your credit cards, all of your stupid little boyfriends and sell all your band equipment.' He said. No way. 'Absolutely not.' I muttered. He just chuckled again and pulled a belt out from his drawers. 'W-what are you gunna do with t-that?' I stuttered. He smiled evilly. I knew exactly what he was gunna do. I shut my eyes tightly and braced myself. CRACK! I'm sure I heard it before I felt it. The pain shot through me like a bullet. I let out a shriek. CRACK! He struck me with it again, getting the metal part on my bare skin. I let out a sob and bit my lip, preparing myself for the next one. But there was no next one. I looked up. He was starring at me. A grin stretched across his face. 'Don't think it ends here.' He muttered and walked off. I moved my shaking hand over to my waist, where he had hit me. I bought my hand back, but this time it was red.

I let out another sob and tried to get up, I needed to get back to Kellin. Where was I? It was some type of warehouse. I walked outside. I was only a couple of minutes away from my house. Disturbing me from my thoughts,  a hand grip over my mouth. I tried to scream but no noise came out. 'Don't even think about telling anyone.' He muttered. I quickly nodded and ran off...

Kellin's POV

I knew It. Vic hated me after I yelled at him. He must've ran away. He's been gone for three hours now. I sat on the floor, my face soaked with my tears. There was only one option now he's gone. I pulled a pack of paracetamol out of my bag and stared at it for a while before opening it. I tipped 9 onto my hand. My mind flashed back to 2 days ago.

''Promise you won't leave me' Vic said to me. 'I'll never leave you!' I replied.

*Back to present..

I instantly felt guilty about killing myself, but I quickly forgot about that day. He didn't love me anymore. 'I'm sorry,' I whispered, tears rolling down my face 'but you left me.' I finished. I bought the pills up to my mouth and shut my eyes. 'I love you.' I whispered. 'Goodb-'  'NO!' I heard a familiar voice scream. I opened my tearful eyes. 'Vic..!?' I asked. He had tears rolling down his face in seconds. 'Why!?' He sobbed. 'I thought you hated me!' I cried. He smacked the pills out my hand and wrapped his arms around me. 'I'm sorry.' He whispered. 'Where have you been?'I whispered.

'Uh..ummm..' he started. I could see the clogs go round in his head. 'I-I umm..' he said again. 'Jaime.' He said quickly. 'I saw Jaime and he wanted to know how things were going.' He said quickly. I looked at him suspiciously. 'Vic, what actually happened.' I said. He looked guilty. He eyes glistened with tears. 'Vic?' I asked. He hasn't cheated on me has he? I thought to myself. No. he wouldn't do that to me. He stared at me. 'I need a shower.' He quickly said and ran out the room. I followed him up the stairs. 'I need to brush my teeth!' I said quickly, remembering I hadn't done them this morning. He seemed happy at the change of subject. 'Yeah sure, go ahead.' He said. I walked in the bathroom but he didn't follow. 'I thought you were having a shower?' I asked. 'I thought I'd wait for you to do your teeth.' He said. Something was up, and I needed to know what. 'We usually have showers together Vic!' I said, putting on a fake laugh so he knew I wouldn't be suspicious. He shuffled awkwardly. 'Umm.. yeah.. okay..' he muttered. I smiled and nodded.

He got changed sideways.. weird. He usually doesn't mind flashing to me! He clambered in the shower, again sideways. What was up? He turned the water on and immediately he winced, I could see him grit his teeth.  'Are you okay?' I asked, not being able to help myself. 'Yeah, it's just cold.' He replied.. I would've usually believed that, but there was steam. I nodded anyway.

I finished brushing my teeth. I'd come back in a minute when he's not expecting it. I left my phone in there as an excuse.

I waited about two minutes then opened the door and said 'oops, forgot my pho-' but I stopped mid sentence. He quickly turned around. 'V-vic.. h-how did that happen?' I asked, trying to remember the massive red gashes he had in his waist. 'What?' He said, nervously laughing. 'Vic, turn the shower off.' I said, hardly being able to hear anything with that over the top of it.

He sighed and turned it off. 'H-how did that happen?' I asked, on the verge of tears. He pretended to look confused. He's such a bad liar. I gave him a 'really?' look. He then said ' oh! This?'  He pointed at it. I nodded. He laughed and said 'I fell over!' He laughed again. I still wasn't convinced. 'Where?' I asked, suspiciously. 'In the pub, with Jaime.' He said. I nodded. 'Should I give Jaime a call to let him know your okay?'  I asked. Hah. 'n-no. It's fine.' He said quickly. 'I think I should.' I said and picked up my phone. 'No!' He said loudly, making me jump slightly. 'Please...don't.' He whispered. He climbed out the shower. I Examined the gashes. They looked painful. 'Please, Vic. Tell me.' I said, sadly.

'He told me not to tell anyone.' He said. 'Who? Who did this to you!' I said, loudly. He looked at the floor. 'Mr McCracken.' He whispered.

My heart stopped..
