Vic's POV
I didn't get much sleep last night. Mr McCracken hadn't gone upstairs. We had already nearly cleared everything up. I glanced over at Kellin. His eyes gently shut. I quickly pulled on a Bullet for my valentine tee then some ripped skinny jeans. I quickly threw on a beanie and took one last look at kellin before leaving the room. I walked into Copelands room to see if she was okay. I kissed her forehead and walked out quietly, making sure not to wake her. I walked down the stairs and quickly grabbed a pair of scissors. It's not much but It's better than nothing if I have to use them.I quietly walked out the house, slowly shutting the door behind me. I took a deep breath and started walking to the warehouse.
Kellin's POV
My eyes flickered open. I rolled over. Vic wasn't there. Where is he? I thought. I jogged down the stairs. 'Vic?' I called. I walked into the kitchen. No note. Strange. I grabbed an apple out of the fridge and munched on it. I pulled out my phone and called him. Ring ring. My head shot over to detect where the noise was coming from. Vic had left his phone here. I sighed and hung up.I finished eating my apple and went to chuck it in the trash can. The Lid popped open and I dropped it in. Something caught my eye. A ripped piece of paper that read I'll see you tomorrow. Huh. That's where he was. I frowned and pulled the piece of paper out. I looked in the trash. There where other bits of ripped up paper in there. I took them out and began to piece them together. I pulled out tape and began sticking the pieces together.
I finally managed to stick it together and began reading.
Vic,
Meet me in the Warehouse, 1pm tomorrow. Don't bring anyone, or I'll know. If you don't obey my orders, your precious boyfriend will have less of his life left then he already does.I'll see you tomorrow
You know who it is.I gasped and checked my watch. 12.30 It read. I mentally slapped my self for getting up so late. He mustn't have left that long ago. As quick as possible, I got changed and bolted out the door.
I ran round the corner and looked around, searching for Vic. He was no where. The Warehouse I reminded my self. I know where that is. I ran as fast as possible to the location, nearly getting hit by a car a dozen times.
Vic's POV
I sat on the hard, concrete floor, waiting for Bert McCracken to show up. I tried my best to try and keep a clear head, not let fear get the better of me. That's right Vic I thought to myself. you're not scared of him. I sighed and checked my watch. 12.45 It read.I heard a low chuckle. 'Someone's keen eh?' I heard Bert say. I looked up. 'What do you want?' I asked through gritted teeth. 'Well that's not a very nice greeting is it?' He mocked. 'Did you like the new look I gave you house? I think the old one was a bit.. you know, boring.' He laughed. I stared at him blankly, waiting for an answer. He sighed. 'I missed you Vic! I thought we could have a catch up!' He laughed. I got up to walk out. I'm not wasting my time. A hand gripped my shoulder. 'Where do you think you're going.' He spat in my ear. My heart stopped.
I took a shaky breath. 'Are you still after my money? Coz if you are, I'd give up now.' I said, bravely. He shook his head and chuckled. 'No, I thought we could have some fun!' He laughed. I gulped. 'W-what do you mean?' I stuttered. 'Why don't we play a game of cat and mouse? I'll be the cat, you'll be the mouse.' He chuckled. I took a step back, and started to run, but an icy cold hand grabbed me and chucked me to the floor. I let out a quiet whimper. 'You're not very good at this are you?' He teased. I scrambled to my feet and started to run. Yet again, he grabbed me, but this time, I fought back. I lashed out, waving my hands about, trying to slap, punch or even scratch him. I got a good shot of his face. I looked up. He had a scratch going from his brow bone to his ear. Anger shone in his eyes. I took another step back. He rammed me against the wall, digging his elbow into my neck. I've never known any one so strong. I started kicking out, but he dug his elbow in harder, so I stopped. 'That's right.' He whispered. 'You're never going to beat me.' He chuckled. I sobbed slightly. This was it. He was way too strong for me, and I had no way to defend myself. I was just finishing admitting to myself that this was over, when he pinned me to the wall harder, and a sharp object dug through my jeans. My scissors. I slowly reached for them and pulled them out.
I took a deep breath then jabbed them into the side of his stomach, making him let out a loud gasp. He softened his grip on me, but not completely. Before I could do it again, he grabbed them out of my hand and angled them at my neck. That backfired I thought to myself. He raised his fist and clubbed me round the head with it, making me fall to the floor. He crouched down next to me. I felt the cold metal of the scissors on my neck. He dug them in harder, chuckling as he did. The light was slowly fading. I saw a figure appear in the entrance of the Warehouse. I couldn't quite make out who it was. It called my name. The pressure of the scissors went. I rubbed my eyes. I could just make out Kellin. Mr McCracken stood up, leaving me useless, laying on the floor. 'Vic!' I heard kellin Scream. 'K-Kellin leave, h-he'll h-h-hurt y-you.' I stuttered.
The light was fading now and my head was throbbing. I felt Mr McCrackens boot hit me head heavily. I gasped as my vision faded more.
The last thing I saw was someone being pinned to the floor.
I hope and pray Kellin was the one still standing.
