Kellin's POV
It was a nice morning. I watched the sun rise from the balcony. Vic was still asleep. He was muttering stuff again. I smiled as he muttered gibberish, but my smile soon faded when he started talking sense. I couldn't exactly hear what he was saying at first but then it made sense.
I listened closer. 'No.' he kept muttering. I sat down next to him. 'Kellin.' He whispered, still in deep sleep. 'No.' he murmured again. 'Kells you promised.' He said. This definitely caught my attention. I listened closer. What did I promise? I stroked his hair. 'What did I promise, Vic?' I asked. He kept repeated 'no' Over and over again. 'You promised' he said, sobbing. 'Vickie, what did I promise?' I asked agin, hoping he'd hear me. He muttered something quietly. 'Sorry?' I asked, hoping he'd repeat it again. 'You promised you wouldn't leave me!' He screamed and shot up, eyes wide open.
I could feel tears starting to escape my eyes and roll down my cheek. Vic looked around, then saw me, sitting next to him. He noticed me crying. 'Kells?' He said. I wiped a falling tear of my cheek. 'What happened, h-have I said something? W-what..?' He stuttered. I forced a smile, he obviously wasn't coping with this well. 'It's okay, I was just thinking.' I whispered, wiping another tear of my face. He shook his head. 'No, I'm sure I said something, what did I say?' He asked. I got up and walked into the bathroom. 'Don't worry.' I whispered. He grabbed my hand. 'Kells, please.' He begged.
I took a deep breath and turned around. 'It's okay, you were muttering stuff, that's all.' I said. His eyes watered. 'Yeah, but what?' He asked, desperately. I sighed. I looked at my watch. Saved by the time. 'Shoot, Vic, we gotta leave, our flight boards in 2 hours!' I said, chucking everything that I hadn't already packed into the suitcase.
Vic's POV
I awoke to see Kellin's eyes all puffed up and red, with tears streaming down his face. I had just had a dream about kellin dying, in my arms. That's what worried me. What if I said something about him dying? He seemed very reluctant to tell me.
I could see the relief on his face when he realised we were running late. He was saved by time. I tried to brush it off, but it was on my mind for the rest of the day.
-Time Skip To AirPort-
We ran through customs and finally made it on our flight. We sat down in nearly the exact same seats we had on the way here. I looked out the window. I'll miss Paris. I held back a tear when I imagined how it felt for Kellin. This is probably his last holiday. This place was where he always fantasised about going to. I'd love to tell him we'd come back another day, but there's no hope for that. There's no hope for anything anymore.I suddenly remembered. 'Kells?' I asked. He looked at me and nodded. 'Kells, I know you don't want to tell me but, what did I say? It's been playing on my mind for the whole morning.' I asked. He sighed. 'Vic, It really doesn't matter.' He said. I shook my head. 'It matters to me!' I cried. He rested his head on the seat. 'Please.' I whispered. 'I can't even remembered really.' He said, but I knew he was lying. I looked at him, determined to get an answer.
He sighed again. 'Something about me promising that I wouldn't leave you or something, I don't know Vic, it really doesn't matter.' He said. I sighed. I thought it would be something like that. 'I'm sorry.' I whispered, burying my head in his chest. He ran his fingers through my hair. 'It really doesn't matter.' He whispered.
I fell asleep for the rest of the flight.
-Time Skip To House-
It felt good to be back in San Diego. I missed the heat and sunshine, and of course Copeland, who wasn't coming back till tomorrow.
We pulled up outside our house. 'Home sweet home.' I smiled, looking at Kellin, who seemed as happy as I did. 'I really miss Paris, but there's no place better than San Diego.' He laughed. I smiled. We walked up to the door and opened it..
Our smiles were taken quicker than they arrived. Kellin gasped. My eyes widened. The house was a wreck, the book shelf was smashed up on the floor, picture frames were smashed up, glass everywhere, the Tv had been smashed. Everything was ruined. And just like that, our whole world had fallen apart.
I walked in, crunching through broken glass. Kellin stood there, frozen in the doorway. I saw a small note folded on top of the upside down sofa. I unfolded it..
Vic,
Meet me in the Warehouse, 1pm tomorrow. Don't bring anyone, or I'll know. If you don't obey my orders, your precious Boyfriend will have less of his life left then he already does.I'll see you tomorrow.
You know who it is.I ripped the note up so Kellin wouldn't find it. I had no choice. I had to go and see Mr McCracken.
I turned around shaking, too see Kellin still frozen in the doorway, quietly sobbing. I walked over to him, the sound of broken glass crunching under my feet.
'We'll get this fixed, okay?' I said.
'Okay.' He whispered, still glued to the spot.
