It was Thanksgiving and everyone was excited. Miranda U was buzzing with good cheer. Alex, John, Herc, and Laf were walking back from they store. They had all left Thomas to make the Thanksgiving dinner at James and Laf's dorm. They had forgotten to get the whine yesterday. James had been out getting some frosting so they could make gingerbread houses with the Schuyler sisters later. They were walking back and they ran into James.
"You guys left Thomas alone to cook dinner?!" Asked James.
"Uh, ya, he said he had it under control." Replied Alex. James facepalmed and started running back to the dorm. The other guys started running as well, confused. They got to the dorm and walked in. "Thomas?"
"Ya Jemmy?"
"I'm coming in the kitchen."
"NO NEED!"
James ran into the kitchen before Thomas could lock the door. The other guys followed behind him.
"This is why you don't let Thomas make the meal." James said gesturing to the counter. "Because he thinks fuck it, I COULD make that other food. Ooooor, I could make thirteen different kinds of Mac 'N Cheese. " James sighed. He got out his phone and hit the face chat button on his conversation with Angelica in the group chat app*¹. Ring. Ring. Ring.
"Hey James."
"Hey Angie."
"What do you need?"
"Can we eat Thanksgiving dinner with you guys tonight?"
"Sure, but uh, why, may I ask?"
"This." James switched cameras so Angelica could see Thomas and the thirteen types of Mac 'N Cheese. He switched the camera back. Angelica nodded.
"I'll see you in twenty minutes."
