*Author's Note: So I said this was a one shot book,  and technically it is, but I must note that many of our One-Shots may be slightly connected to others. Thanks. Love y'all. I'll let you read now.              It was early November,  but New York was already freezing. Principal Washington had just announced that Miranda University would be taking the next week and a half off due to extreme temperatures. As you may have guessed, the Salt Squad didn't like the cold. John, Thomas, and James grew up down south, Alex grew IP in the Caribbean, and Herc and Laf just didn't appreciate the cold. This led to the decision to go to Florida. Thomas had suggested going to Pennsylvania, but Alex was NOT having that. One other problem: James and Laf refused to get a cat sitter.
    "They'll get cold!" exclaimed Laf.
"TOO BAD!" cried Alex and Thomas in unision.
But no,  James and Lad still refused. Thomas and Alex decided to pul an arts and crafts all nighter. By 3 a.m. they were in front of James and Laf's door chanting Cats Can't Go!  Cats Can't Go!  while holding up giant signed. James finally got up,  came to the door,  and pulled Thomas inside. After about 20 minutes Alex got out the spare key and went inside. He couldn't find Thomas. Finally he found him locked in a closet with Annie and Peaches,  gagged and wearing toy handcuffs. Alex uncuffed Thomas and left a note of defeat for James and Laf. It was going to be a looong trip.
*Author's Note: The cats actually aren't mentioned in the next couple chapters so… Not a long trip?!  Lol,  idk. Love y'all!  Stay Fandom Trash!
