Unknown Name

Yeah right I'm not going to follow them, I have my orders, she's wounded and she's basically leading me to Captain America. The only thing I have to worry about is her sword work, which she was holding back on, she must've been reminded of someone by me which I can use to my advantage, but who? Obviously she cared for that young man in there who got her not to kill me, although I knew she wouldn't even if she already has killed before, that could also help me and maybe get me answers.

"Come in-" static comes from my com " have you finished the job?" more static.

"Following the targets now, over." No reply, which is good news to me.

Now, back to following the mutant who just threatened me if I did follow her. I peer around the corner of the hallway to see her not to far away, on the ground, with her hand on the chest of the one she called Bobby and her little boyfriend standing aside watching. Bobby gets up and is no longer limping, but him and the one with cracks on his face have to help Maxi, I suppose that's a nickname, walk down the dust caked hallway.

The only good things about this situation is that she's slowly being paralyzed by my taser, as she  called it, and they don't know I'm following them, which gives me a bit of an upper hand. I continue to follow them, occasionally hiding behind piles of fallen wall, until they disappear behind a rather large one themselves.

I run silently to the area the went into and take a quick glance over some of the rubble to see them conversing with a bloodied Captain America and another member who is rather short and holding her arm around him like they're in a relationship. I almost laugh aloud, this is too easy, both of the targets have someone close to them that I could use to my advantage.

Maxi collapses in the middle of the conversation and I figure that this the perfect time to act. I grab my third "taser", jump over the pile of rock, and hit Bobby and the other one in the chest. Something barrels at me and I duck just in time to dodge the Captains shield. I grab the short girls arm and hold my taser up to her head, the electricity cackles at the thought of touching her.

"Don't move again if you want her to live." I say, hoping he doesn't see through my bluff.

"I'll come with you son, just don't hurt her." I toss him my first pair of handcuffs and he places them around his wrists.

"Steve, please..." the girl says and I press the taser harder against her temple.

"Christie, I'll be ok." I cuff her after the Captain shows me he's cuffed and I follow suit with the rest.

"Thank you, for your cooperation." I say to the two who are conscious.

"Both targets are apprehended along with three others, ready for pick up." I say into my com and hear nothing back for a couple of seconds.

"G1 is coming in for a landing, be ready at the designated area." After this the sound of a plane engine breaks the not so silent silence. A platform lowers from the bottom of the hull and I place Captain America and his supposed girlfriend on first. Then I pile the others on after and jump on myself. As the pulley asends a little slower than usual, I'm greeted be the sounds of my crew.

Maxine Lehnsherr

I lift my head up from my forearms to find that I'm handcuffed to a metal table and my wings are held down by some sort of corset thing. I'm not really sure what it is, but it's fairly uncomfortable. The door to the room I'm in opens and a woman sits down in front of me.

"Can you tell me your name?"she asks and I tilt my head slightly, raising my eyebrows.

"You don't know my name?" I ask her and she sighs.

"No, and no one has said a single word except you, and your cooperation will be rewarded." I think about her words for a minute before I answer.

"I'll only talk to the man who apprehended me." The woman's lips go taut, and she gets up and leaves the room.

That was easier than I thought it would be, maybe I'll actually get to know who this guy is. The door opens and he walks in and sits down in the chair across from me.

"What's your name?" He asks and I lean forward a little. If I tell him, should I tell him? Maybe if he's who I think he is.

"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours." He smirks when I say this.

"Alright, if it will get you to cooperate, my name is Richard Grayson." His words grab my lungs and hold on to them.

"Wha-" I don't even have the words to say.

"Now it's your turn." I guess I have to trust him now.

"Maxine... Lehnsherr." He looks me in the eyes.

"The boss will be glad to hear that," He takes out some sort of sharp needle and lunges at me, "Now all I need is a DNA sample."

This is not Dick, someone sent him to get information about me, or to throw me off. I try to jump back before the pin can scrape my cheek, maybe I can get out of these handcuffs. I start to use my metal eating bacteria on the lock and I hear a click before he makes a stab at me again. This time it sinks into my chest before I can pull my hands free. He smiles and pulls it out slowly, making the pain almost unbearable.

"S-top." I barely get out before he pulls out a large carving knife.

"I thought you were tougher than that, huh?" He pats the side of my head and holds it in place, while sliding the edge of the blade along my cheek, etching fiery pain into my skin. I let out a scream of agony before he covers my mouth with his rough hand.

"Now, don't you go spoiling the fun for me." He breathes out and I feel a tear slide down my cheek.
