"I'll miss you." I told my sister and her fiancé as I walked with them to their car.

"Oh, Emersyn. We'll miss you too." Jenny spoke giving me a hug in the process.

We had just finished unpacking all my things into my new apartment, the place I would be living for the duration of my college career here. No matter how many times I have to leave, my sister still cries every time.

"We'll see you in September when you come back for the last bit of planning for the wedding. It'll be okay." Will reasoned.

"Yeah, but it's going to be weird not seeing you everyday again." I spoke softly.

"It'll be alright." He repeated pulling me into a hug.

He may have been my sister's fiancé , but he still was like a big brother to me. He never really treated me like like the annoy sister that came along with the love of his life. Some day I hope to find something like what they have.

"I know. It's not the first time but it sure feels like it." I said remembering how much of a mess I was last year.

"We know. We have to get going now, or we won't get home until late tonight." Jenny said getting in the car.

"Will she be okay?" I asked Will.

"Of course. Just remember to call her every now and then." He told me and I told him that I won't forget.

Will got in the car after my sister and they drove off soon after. I walked back up to my apartment, not bothering with the elevator due to the fact there were many people still using it to move in. I walked back into my room and was greeted by my roommate, Jessie.

"Is your sister going to be okay on the drive back? I mean, she is pregnant and all." She asked me, concerned for my families long trip back, "Has she even told Will?"

"They'll be okay, I told them to call me when they got about halfway home." I told my best friend, "And I don't think so. She needs to do it soon or she'll be going to her first doctor's appointment by herself." I then flopped down on the couch face first.

"Oh, no you don't." Jessie said trying to pull me back up.

"Jess, what are you doing?" I asked her, resisting her pull even if she did manage to flip me over so that I could look at her.

"I got a text from Shawn, and we are all going out to lunch. His treat." She smiled down at me

"No. I'm not going to third wheel." I paused, "Again." I shrugged off her hand that was still trying to pull me up.

"Em, come on. He missed you this summer." She tried to convince me.

I gave her an are-you-kidding-me look and asked, "Your boyfriend missed me?"

"You know what I mean. He considers you a friend since we're all friends." She explained.

"Do I have to go?" I asked, still refusing to get up off my nice bed.

"You don't have an option." She shrugged her shoulders.

I sighed, giving in, "Alright."

Jessie cheered in victory and threw my purse next to me on the floor. She put on her shoes and we went down the stairs to wait for Shawn in the lobby of the apartment building. Once he pulled up, we walked over to his car and just as I was about to get in the back Jessie got in the back.

"You're in the front today, Em." She said shutting the car door.

I sighed, knowing that I would just lose this fight. I hopped into the passenger seat next to Shawn.
