Chapter 1 - Unexpected Meet

"Bes I want you to meet my fam." Hanna said out of the blue as she was tying my hair. "Why is that?" I asked. I was playing candy crush on my iPhone. "I just want them to meet you, syempre you're my bestfriend. You're part of me. I also want you to be part of my family." She answered. "Will they like me?" I asked her. "Oo naman! Lagi kaya kitang kinukwento sa kanila. Even my kuya Donny wants to meet you." She answered.
Si Donny. Biglang nag-activate ang malalandi kong nerve cells.
"Talaga bes? Uhm. Kelan mo ba ako balak dalhin dun?"
"Tomorrow, 4pm after class. Diba 4pm matatapos practice nyo?" She asked facing me to her. She finished tying my long, curly, dark brown hair. "Yeah. Pero uuwi muna ako, magpapalit ako ng damit." I agreed. "Sure!" She replied. Suddenly, we were interrupted as Hannah's phone rang. She picked it up and accepts the call. "Hello Kuya Donny?" My heart just erratically beats. It was Donny? "Huh? Im with Mia eh.-- Talaga?- As in ngayon na?-Okay kuya I'll be there- just wait for me- Okay bye."  "What was that?" I asked with curiosity.
"Kuya told me that he's here. He'll pick me up bes he wants me to do his make up. Aaattend daw siya ng Star Magic Ball." She said while fixing her things. I feel my hands are shaking. Andito si Donny sa school?! Magkikita na ba kami?
"Bes, u okay? Lag ka ata eh." She said waving his palm in my face. "Yeah. Aalis ka na?" I asked while she's wearing her bag pack.
"Yeah. Hatid mo ko sa baba?" She asked. Omg. Sasama ba ako? Ihahatid ko ba siya? If that so, magkikita kami ni Donny. No. This cant be. Not now. Bukas ko nalang siya haharapin.
"Ah eh kasi bes I left my portfolio in the classroom I have to get it." Palusot ko. "Okay so I'll go ahead na bes. You keep safe ha? Love you." She said goodbye and kissed me in the cheeks. "Yeah you too bes. Bye." I smiled while waving at her.

"Ma, Im home!" Nilapag ko yung bag ko sa sofa at humiga. Gawd. Napagod ako ngayong araw.

"O nak andyan ka na pala. Tumayo ka na nga jan. Magbihis ka na baka may darating na bisita naka uniform ka pa." Ani niya while untagging the apron in her waist.

"Bakit ma sino ba ang darating?" I get up and untie my hair.

"Wala naman. Pero malay mo may darating." She said.

"Wala naman pala, akyat nako ma. Magbibihis lang." Sabi ko at hinablot yung bag ko. I ran up to the stairs. Nasa second floor kasi yung room ko.

Nagbihis ako ng pambahay. Syempre. Sumuot ako ng white sando na may print na "sexy". Tapos short na parang boxer nga. Color black. Kinamot ko yung ulo ko, medyo makati eh. Wala naman akong dandruff at kuto.

Bumaba ako sa sala at na upo sa sofa. I turned on the t.v. Hanap hanap ng mapapanood.

Booyah! Tom And jerry!!

Ayun at nanood nako.

"Nak may tao ata sa labas. Puntahan mo nga." Sigaw ni mama. Nasa kusina siya.

"Okay." Nubayan! Sino ba tong tao na to.

Gusto kong magdabog habang palabas ng bahay. Eh kasi naman kakaupo ko lang tayo na agad.

Kamot ako ng kamot sa ulo ko habang binubuksan ko yung maliit na gate.

"Sino ba ya--"

Tinignan nya ako mula ulo hanggang paa. At hindi pa siya nakontento. Paa na naman hanggang ulo.

"Are you Mia Hall?" Finally he speaks up. Tanong nya with a frown.
