The Aliens

Lychee wakes up the next day, happy that she was able to escape without problems last night . She checks her phone to see 100+ calls and texts from all the girls . "Oh crap! I should've told them I got back safely...I hope they didn't search for me all night!"
She jumps out of bed and rushes to her route to school, hoping she'd bump into them on the way .
Instead though, on the route to school she's met with a familiar face .
"Psst...! Ishihara-san..!"
She turns to see Hakuto peeking out from behind a tree . She looks around before walking over .
"What are you doing here? Don't tell me there are more chimera animals nearby..." She sighs .
"No, it's nothing like that, I just came to say hi is all..." He peaks the rest of the way out from the tree with a smile, revealing a big purple bruise on his right cheek .
"What happened to you?!" She leans in close and touches the bruise gently, making him wince .
"U-um...I failed to keep you trapped so..Kasutera..." He laughs nervously . "I-it's nothing, really! Please don't worry."
"Ehhh?! She's really evil, isn't she ?" Chinatsu frowns and crosses her arms . "You should really be more careful not to get caught helping me out...don't get yourself hurt, Hakuto !"
He gives a small laugh . "No, no, don't worry about it! She dragged me here against my will anyway, and she needs me, so there's no way she'll get rid of me ."
Chinatsu felt a bit skeptical but she just nods slowly . "Well...okay, if that's how you feel ."
Suddenly, a high-pitched excited squeal sounds from further down the street . "Lychee-onee-chan..! You're okay!!"
Hakuto gets a bit shocked and gives Lychee a quick wave goodbye . "Uh...I'll see you later, bye !!" Before teleporting away into the trees .
Chinatsu turns to see Pudding and she scratches the back of her head nervously . "Ahaha, yeahhh, I'm fine ! Sorry I made you all worry !!"
Pudding tilts her head . "Who were you talking to ?"
Chinatsu coughs a little . "A-ahh, nobody really . I just got distracted is all . A-anyways, shouldn't we head to school ?"
"Oh ! You're right !! I gotta go !!" Pudding realizes before running ahead of Chinatsu . "Talk to you later, Lychee-onee-chan!"
Lychee sighs before continuing on her way . The walk to her school is relatively peaceful, but Chinatsu's mind is clouded with confusion . Why was she chosen to be a mew mew ? She knew the Mew mews existed but..she never thought in her entire life that she'd ever actually be one! And now..an alien, who she thought would be her enemy, is being nice to her and helping her . It's all too much . Eventually she reaches her school gates and meets up with Lettuce . "A-ah, Lettuce !! Good morning !"
Lettuce turns to see her and pushes up her glasses with a shy smile . "Chinatsu-chan ! You had all of us so worried..! What happened last night ??"
Chinatsu laughs a little and nods . "I know, I'm sorry...I'll explain everything later, it's a long story . But..could you not let the other mews know..? I-I kinda want it to be a secret for now.."
Lettuce tilts her head . "I suppose...? In any case, I'm glad you got back safe ! Meet me here after school and we can walk home together and talk about it ?"
Chinatsu nods happily . "Yes ! Thanks Lettuce, you're the best !!" She gives a bright smile before running off into school for the day.
School goes by pretty normally, that is, until lunch time . Chinatsu makes her way to the cafeteria, only to overhear some of her friends gossiping at a table . She sits down next to them with a smile, "What happened ? You guys sure are hyper !"

One of Chinatsu's friends, Mina, leans in . "Ehhh ?! You mean you haven't heard ? There's a cute new mew mew ! Look for yourself !"
Chinatsu gets a phone shoved into her hands, and on the screen there's a recording of her as Mew Lychee !! Using her attack on the moth like before, and also footage of her being teleported away by Kasutera . She laughs nervously . "W-wow..isn't that crazy, ahaha..."
"Awe, she's so cute ! Too bad she got teleported away...do you think she's alright ?" Mina asks, slightly concerned . "It's a shame she was taken during her debut ! I wanted to see more of her !!"
Chinatsu waves her hands awkwardly, "O-oh, I'm sure she's okay !! I mean, she's a mew mew right ?"
"Hmm, I guess we'll see..." Mina replies before closing the video . "She looks like she's our age right ? What if she goes to our school ? Ah, it's so exciting !!!"
Chinatsu coughs, "Ahaha, I doubt that, that would be crazy, Mina !!" She can't help but blush a little as Mina talks about her unknowingly .
