Drake's POV
“Why are we having this meet?” Tyga asks
“Yeah, what's going on?” Lil' Twist asks
“If y'all be quiet he might tell us something” Nicki snaps
“Thanks, Nicki” Mack says
She just smiles at him
“So there is a new artist I was thinking of signing” Mack Maine states “But she isn't exactly know for her singing--”
“Who is she?” Shanell interrupts
“Imani Young” Mack say
“Imani Young, the supermodel...she ain't go no talent she's just a tall hoe” Nicki rants
“Look, she's very talented and I'm having a meeting with her and her people later today so I just want to know what your guys input is”
“Who has she been compared to?” Wayne asks
“Jennifer Hudson”
“Does she have a demo?” Birdman asks
“Yeah" Mack takes his phone out his pocket and a angelic soulful voice come from his phone
“No there no way Imani Young was singing that” Shanell says
“Back to busy guys” Slim says
"Raise you hand if your down for her joining the crew?" Mack asks
Chuckee, Twist, Tyga, Wayne, Birdman, Slim, and myself raise our hands
“Okay, against it”
Nicki, Shanell, Jae Millz, Cory, Gudda, Short Dawg, T-streets are against it
“It's a tie” Mack states
“Look, if you believe in this girl then sign and if not let her go” Slim says
Imani's POV
Keisha, my manger, and I are currently walking into the restaurant we're about five minutes late I see Mack Maine, Birdman, Slim sitting at a large table Keisha and I join them.
“Hello, gentleman” Keisha greets them as we sit down
“Your late” Slim says
“Sorry our Jive meeting was a little longer then expected” she lying through her teeth
“Your looking at Jive?” Mack Maine asks
“Jive, Roc Nation, Sony just to name a few” Keisha says causally
“Here our offer” Birdman says sliding a white piece of paper over to Keisha who has a business and law degree
She pulls out her glasses from her purse and begins reading the contract a few minutes later she's finished “Gentleman this is chump change to what my client usual makes”
“She's new to the music industry so she'll have to start at the bottom and if she's a hit then we can renegotiate her contract” Mack says
“Alright then gentleman have a nice day” she says putting her glasses back in their case
“Playing hard ball I see” Birdman says
“It's the only way I know how to play” Keisha smirks
