Calvin's POV
“I dropped Mishon off at Keisha's” I say before Imani can ask about our son
“So are we're picking everyone up?” she ask
“Yeah, Sean, Lisa, Devon, and Tyson”
“Devon and Tyson aren't bringing dates right?” she asks
“Naw, you know they are”
She laughs “Yeah, I do”
I give her a up and down from her blond hair to her high heels “You look beautiful”
“Thanks, you always knew how to rock a suit” she says touching my shoulders
“Yeah, where did you think our son got his swag from?”
“Me” she says
I shake my head “Naw, boo, that's all me”
“I guess we should go pick up everyone” she says
“Where are the boys?” I ask
“I spent them to spa they've both been stressed out lately”
“That's too bad”
“Yeah, they've both been stressed out with school and work and me on their asses I just thought they deserve a nice little break”
I shake my head “Why you tryna to lie to me? I mean you've got nothin' to gain from it?”
She sighs “They don't know that I'm going to the wedding with you"
“We should get going” I say trying to to act like my feelings aren't hurt a little bit
“Yeah, let's go” she says grabbing her purse
She gives me the keys our hands touch which sends a spark from me to her our eyes lock for a spilt second then Imani's eyes leave mine.
“Thanks” I say continuing to a walk to the car
She nods her head I open her door the close it and go to the driver's side and get it.
First person were picking up is Tyson
I stop the car in front of his condo building his is already standing there “Sup” Ty says getting
“Hey,Tyson” I say
“Hey,pretty lady” Tyson says to Imani
“Hey Ty, you lookin' good”
“So are you Miss. Imani”
“Thank you”
Next we go get Sean and Lisa
I stop the car again in front of their house which they shared Lisa comes out of the house first she seems a little pissed as Sean follows her “Baby, c'mon I'm sorry I didn’t mean it”
“Whatever, Sean”
He opens the door for her and then got himself
“Hi, everyone” Lisa, says her mood flips like a damn light switch
“Hi, Lisa, you look amazing in that dress” Imani complains her
“Thanks, I love that wine color on you” Lisa says
“So Lise, tells what this nigga did this time? Tyson says egging her on
“He called me a hoe” Lisa says
