Today is about Calvin and why he's an unfit parent I can't wait to see Keisha tear him apart I gripping the steering wheel tightly just thinking about it
“Are you listening to me?” Imani's voice pulled me from my own thoughts
“Yeah, I heard you” I say
She rolled her eyes “I need you and your off in freakin' outer space!” she yells
Lately Imani's been moody her emotions are like roll coaster I know it's because she's carrying my child but it still difficult to know how to talk to her because she's happy then sad all in more minute
“I'm sorry babe” I say
“Why don't you ever listen to me” she ask in tears
I pull over the car I turn to look at her but she's sobbing
“Imani, look at me”
She slowly turns her face to me
“Imani, I do listen to you I've just got a lot on my mine I want to see this bastard go down” I say caressing her face
“Me too” she says caressing my hand “I love you”
“I love you, too”
I start the car and we continue to the courthouse
“Miss. Imani Kimberly Young has been taking care of others since at the tender age of nineteen when her parents, Jeremiah and Michelle Young were killed in a tragic drunk driving accident and ever since then Imani has been taking care of her younger brothers, Trenton and Romeo Young does that sound like a irresponsible woman? No, it doesn't” Keisha says smirking looking at Calvin's attorney.
“At the age for twenty-three Imani's life would forever change her received news that she was pregnant with her first child..Your Honor I know this isn't normal for custody cases but I would like Miss. Young to tell us what happen that year if you would allow it”
“Objection Your Honor I had no previous knowledge” Gary quickly shoots off at the mouth
“Counselors approach the bench” Judge Gray says
After a few discussion the disburse “I'll allow this” the Judge says
“Miss. Young, the year of 2008 things changed for you right?” Keisha asked
“Yes” Imani spoke softly
“And what exactly changed for you”
“I got pregnant”
“We're you in a relationship at this time?”
“Yes”
“With who?”
“Calvin Washington”
“And how long had you guys been together”
“I don't know the exactly number”
“If you had to estimate would it be?”
“I don't know probably five years”
“So when you told your boyfriend about the pregnancy how did he react?”
“He said he didn't want to be tied down to me and a baby that we already had kids to take care of and of course he was referring to my brothers”
“Tied down? So happen after that”
“Calvin and I went our separate ways”
“Did he give any support at all?”
“No”
