Chapter nineteen

This is how I imagine my fictional character, Denise. I did it quickly so don't hate. I actually draw on something called paper. Amazing right?

You woke and heard laughing. You grabbed your phone and started texting Alex.

You: Sorry about last night...

Alex: I'm the one that's suppose to say sorry!

You: I'm coming back. See ya there.

You set your phone down on the bed. You walked into the living room. Denis and Sam were in the middle of a game when you walked in. "I'm going. Bye." You said storming out the door. "Wonder what's her problem." Denis said after you left. When you got back, Alex immediately hugged you. "I'm sorry I didn't trust you. I should have. Will you forgive me?" You nodded. Your phone played 'Boogie Ogie on the Dance Floor'. Corl's ringtone. You got a text from him.

Corl: Can we just be alone? Like old times? As friends?

You: Of course Corl! After a while with Alex.

Corl: Great! 👍

You kissed Alex. Madison ran down the hall. "Ewwww! Why? I just want some cookies and I have to see that?!" She runs past while you ignore her. You pull away. "Did you mean those words you said last night? About if Sam was my best friend you wouldn't be mad?" "Yes! We need some time with our friends. Even if they're the opposite gender." Alex smiles. "Will you be mad if I go have some time with Corl later?" "No." You hug him at this response. "Thank you." You record and post stuff on YouTube and go meet Corl at the park. You sit on the top of the monkey bars with Corl. "I needed some time with my friend. Thank you so much for the offer to be here Corl." Corl smiled. "The real reason why your here is because I wanted to ketch up with you. What's your favorite song?" "Message Man by Twenty One Pilots. What's yours?" "Death of a Bachelor by Panic! At the Disco." (Some of my favorites) "Favorite movie?" You stared into space. "The Hills have Eyes. Yours?" Corl took a long time to answer. "Sully. Favorite place?" "Sometimes I just want to get away so I go into the woods and lay down. I close my eyes and listen. It's really relaxing." Corl didn't say anything after that. He started to stare into space. "Remember when we were kids and we used to all walk to school with each other?" Corl nodded. "Remember when we all studied together? And we always got the same grade?" Corl nodded. "We did everything together." Corl turned to you. "I want to hug you but Alex will kill me." "Corl, he will kill you if you kiss me." Corl's eyes lit up. He rapped his arms around you. "See? Not so bad." Denis sat down next to you. "Can I get in on this hug?" You pulled him in. You let go after a while. "Hey Dingo, what's your favorite movie and song?" Corl asked. "This might seem childish but, my favorite movie is Zootopia. My favorite song is the Greatest by Sia." Corl started laughing. You playfully punched him. "Don't laugh at my brother!" He finally stopped laughing and his phone went off. It was Alex.

Alex: I swear Corl if you ever kiss her again....

Corl: Calm down Alex! Can't we just be friends?

Alex: I'm just saying.

Corl showed the texts to you. You got up and walked home. Alex was recording when you got there. "Stop recording for a second. I need to talk to you." He presses stop on the camera and follows you outside. "What the heck Alex?! Can I just be friends with Corl and you not threaten him?! Please Alex!" Alex looked confused. "I didn't send those messages. The last person I gave my phone to was Madison." You kissed him quickly and walked to Madison's room. "Madison Aryanne (last name)! Did you text Corl?! Yes or no!" She sadly nodded. You calmed down. "Hand me your fathers phone." She handed it to you. You cuddled up next to her. "I'm sorry for raising my voice. Do you forgive me?" She hugged you. "I just wanted to spend some time with my friend. Like you spend time with yours." She let go and you walked away. "Sorry Alex. Do you forgive me?" He kissed you. He accidentally pushed record when you were hugging Madison. But that's for next time......
