It's been a month or two since Denis walked in on you.

Flash back (2005 when you were 7, Alex was 10)
"Alllllleeeexxxxx!! Deeeennnniiisss!! Cooorrrrlllll!!" You yell. It was winter and you couldn't believe that they made you go down a hill on a snowboard when it was your first time. You screamed in terror. You all lived in Canada. Snow was very common. You hated the snow though. Alex was the one who triple dog dared you though. Corl laughed at your distress. "She's gonna get hurt!" Alex yelled, running up the hill to grab you.

Now. The present. Back to now.
You wake up. Alex was gone. You get dressed, thinking he's making a video. You walk out of the room to find him. He was sitting in a corner. You could hear...Sobs? "Are you okay Alex?" "N...N...No." He managed to spit out. He handed you his phone. On it, it had a text from his mom saying 'Hey Alex. You had a long lost sister that I didn't tell you about. She passed away today. I'm so sorry.' You dropped next to him. "Are you going to be okay if I go by there?" He nodded yes while sobbing. You set his phone down and walked out the door.

The same flash back
Alex ran up the hill and grabbed you. You slid down the hill. "I'm sorry about that." "It's okay if I'm okay." You played with them for hours in the snow.

Now
"Hello? It's Denise!" Alex's mom ran up to you. She threw her arms around you and hugged you. "Is Alex here?" "No. He was sitting in a corner of our house crying. Couldn't blame him. He never got to see her. He never knew she even existed." She looked down and walked away. She came back with some tea. "Come sit down." You walked over the living room. You sat in this comfy chair. "I didn't tell Alex because she was up for adoption after she was born. Plus, Alex was young. At least 2. He couldn't remember that, so I kept that secret. I'm sure he had lots of secrets that I don't know. He didn't know mine. Until now." You talked for a long time until you got a text from Alex. 'Where are you? I need you now.' 'Be right there.' "Sorry! I have to go. Alex is getting worried." You left. Discomfort filled you from head to toe. When you got home, Alex was now laying in the floor. He seemed a little better. Not much though. He had a little water in his eyes. Not crying. Probably close. "Come here." He said. "No. You are a strong person Alex! At least get on the couch. Please?" With that, Alex slowly got up on the couch. He finally was sitting up. He was looking down at his feet. You sat down next to him. "Alex. It's okay. I feel safe around you. Really safe. More safe then anyone else besides Denis." He turned to look at you. "I hope you feel the same way around me." You added. You got up. He grabbed your arm. You turned to look at him. "Please sit down." He said in a small voice. You nodded yes and sat down again. "I feel comfortable with you. And only you. No one else. My mom and me weren't close what so ever. I just basically lived with you and Denis." He said. You stared at him in surprise. Remembering.

Flashback to same time, different memory
"Denis. Denis! DENIS!" You shout, trying to get him to wake up. "What? I'm tired." "It's 6:34! Of course your tired! Come on! Corl and Alex will be here soon! Get dressed!" Denis rolls out of bed. You walk out of his room to get breakfast for the both of you. You heard the doorbell. "Denis! Their here!" You walk to the door and find that only Alex is there. "Good morning Denise!" He says cheerfully. You say the same thing back.

Now
"You were always the first one to our house!" "Exactly Denise. I wanted to be with you and Denis." It was silent for a long time until Alex leaned in. He kissed you. You heard the door open then. "Alex! Denise!.....I did it this time didn't I?" You turned, got up, walked to the door, and looked at Corl. "Listen here Corl! I don't care anymore if someone like Denis or you walk in on us! I just don't!" You walked back and sat back down on the couch. You kept kissing Alex. You heard the door shut. "Wow. I didn't know you had that in you." 'Good. He forgot about this morning.' You thought to yourself. "Want to record with me Alex?" Alex smile grew wide. "Of course Denise. Of course."
