Chapter eight

Madison was now 5. Alex was 30, you were 27.

"Daddy!" Madison came running into the living room. You were on the couch and so was Alex. "What kind of job do you have?" "Well, I make videos and post them online." "Where do they go?" He picked her up and sat her on his lap. "There is a thing online called 'YouTube', it allows people to post and watch videos. It is very extraordinary." She looked exited. She smiled. "Can I be in one of your videos?!" Alex turned to look at you. You nodded yes. He looked back at Madison. "Yes you can." He set her down on the couch and got his camera. He pressed record. "Shhhh." You said to Madison. "What's up everyone! Today, my daughter, as you might know Madison, she wanted to be on camera!" He turned the camera to look at you and Madison. "Hi people!" Madison said happily. "Hi peeps! Me again!" You say. Alex turns the camera back at him. "If you would like to see more of Madison tell us in the comments below. So until next time, bye!" He pressed stop on camera and posted it. "I was on camera! Like a movie star!" Madison got up and jumped up and down. You looked at Alex. He caught your glance. You both smiled. Your eyes did the talking. They seemed to say 'Look at OUR daughter. Look at OUR house. Look at us.'

Madison is the same age. You told her about Vidcon. You taught her how to identify YouTubers. You taught her all of the famous YouTubers names. She wanted to know that stuff. You didn't force her.

Soon it was around Vidcon time again. You told Madison and she freaked. She begged you. She begged Alex too. "Maybe Madison. Maybe." Alex replied. She jumped up and down in excitement. You sat Madison on the couch to watch SpongeBob. You dragged Alex to your bedroom. You closed the door behind you. "Alex, how are we gonna get the plane tickets? Vidcon is in 4 days!" He got out his phone and typed something on google. "There's a flight tomorrow. Do you want me to buy the tickets?" "Yes! Anything for Madison. But, should we tell her?" Alex turned to look at you. "In the morning." Alex bought the tickets and you walked out. You walked into Madison's room and packed her bag. You knew what clothes she liked. You packed her very own 'I ❤️ Cats' T-shirt to wear the day of Vidcon. You set out her clothes for tomorrow.
Time skip
"Wake up Madison!" She turned over to look at you. "It's early in the morning! I want some sleep!" "Okay, but your gonna miss Vidcon." You say walking out of the room. She gets up quickly with those words. "You should have said so!" She got dressed fast. Alex got dressed fast too. You grabbed the car keys, the bags, and even your camera. You got in the passenger seat of the car. You did a quick video before you left. "Hey peeps! Me, Alex, and even Madison are going to Vidcon! See you there!" You posted it on both of your channels. You texted Denis. 'Denis! Me, Alex, and Madison are going to Vidcon!' Alex set Madison in the back seat and buckled her in. He got in the drivers seat. "Is everyone ready?" He asked. "YES!!!!" Madison exclaimed. He started the car and headed to the airport.
Time skip
You, Alex, and Madison were finally in Southern California. "Madison stay with mommy and daddy okay?" Alex said worryingly. "Okay!" You rented a car and headed to your hotel. There was already a fan there. "Oh my gosh! It's actually Denise, Alex, and Madison! Nice to meet you!" Alex was holding Madison. "Oh hello. It's nice to meet you too." You said awkwardly. You and Alex rushed to your room. You made sure that she didn't follow you. "When is Vidcon?" Madison asked constantly throughout the night. "Soon Madison. Soon." You replied.
Time skip
"IT'S VIDCON DAY!" Madison said. "Yes it is Maddie! I can tell your exited. You ready to show some YouTubers that you know there names?" Alex said. "Yes! I know I'm small but I'm smart!" Alex and you looked at each other and smiled. You all walked out to the halls of the building that YouTubers meet there fans. (I haven't been to Vidcon so....) Madison pulled Alex's hand to some people. You followed closely. "Hello. My names Madison." "Oh, hello there little girl. My names.." Madison stopped him there. "Your Dominics. That person beside you is Alex Clark. Those other people are Jaiden Animations, TheOdd1sOut or James, and TonyvToons. Your animators. My dad and mom are YouTubers too. Their names are Alex and Denise!" Jaiden looked at Madison in shock. "That's right. How old are you exactly?" James said. "Madison is 5." You said. "She wanted to learn that stuff. I didn't force her." Jaiden just looked in shock. "Sorry for taking your time, she just wants to show off her skill." Alex apologized. "No it's okay! She did an amazing job." Jaiden replied. You continued to on your way to your booth to sign autographs and meet fans. Madison knew all the YouTubers around you while you walked. Granted, they all had more than a million subscribers. Everyone that met Madison was amazed. Fascinated. The fans all asked her to be in more videos. "Maybe." You answered to them all. "Maybe."
