Lost in the sea of thoughts.

Swimming hopelessly

In the endless pit of emotions.

Trying to escape?

Trying to survive?

Or maybe

Trying to relax?

Trying to clear the mind full of ideas?

I do not know anymore.

L O V E

A four lettered word

That is usually used

To show affection

And has many uses.

For example:

I LOVE you,

I LOVED you,

I hated LOVING you,

I LOVE hating you

And so on.

P A I N

Can be

Both physically

And emotionally.

Sometimes, words

Bring more pain

Than any act

F E A R

A weapon,

A cage,

A chain,

That holds

You back

From fulfilling

What you want.

J O Y

This is what makes

You remember and

keeps you

From kicking the bucket

To end this sad

Little thing you call

"Life".

These four words

Have always

been present

Throughout

My life.

Joy,

Love,

Pain,

Fear,

Joy...

Love...

Pain...

Fear...

The Joy of Loving

and

the Fear of Pain

I'm a broken man.

I try to rhyme

But dry words come out

Nothing makes

sense anymore

I have lived

by these

four words

and what they do.

Words that mean

So much and so little.

I know everything

And

Nothing.

Oh the irony

Now, I am

Once again lost

In the sea of thoughts.
