Dear Violet Markey,
I remember seeing you for the first time
A girl so beautiful, so fine
with hazelnut colored hair and deep blue eyes.
The perfect curves and a gorgeous smile.
With round rimmed glasses that fits her just right.
I've always wanted to take you out an a date.
But I figured you could never go home late
Plus, you're always with that guy named "Nate"
Who I assumed to be your "boyfriend"
But akwardly enough, It turns out that he's just your "bestfriend"...plus he's gay
Another day ends
With me voicless over the sight of you.
Daydreaming that we could the perfect 2
Imagining that you'll say you like me too.
But this isn't where everything started
It started with a school project
And we had to work as pairs
So I came over to your house so we could start it.
But we ended up chatting for hours
And we didn't care
Cause we found out a lot about each other.
How you love 5 seconds of summer
How you love the summer
How you like the story of King Arthur
How you want to be a doctor
How you fell in love with The 10th Doctor
From Doctor Who
After that night we became friends
Telling stories that never end
Plethra of hours that we spend
Laughing
I asked you out to prom
And you said "yes"
And that night when I saw you on that dress
I said yes!
I'm the luckiest guy in the world
Because right now I'm on a date with the most beautiful girl.
We danced and that was one of greatest moments of my life.
Every step we took felt like it slowed down time
It felt like we danced for an eternity.
We danced to infinity and beyond.
For a moment, time stopped.
But that was just infinity epitome of my affinity to the idea of you and me.
and like all good things, it came to an end.
weeks later you said you were moving away
And it broke my heart.
Dear Violet Markey,
I stayed up so many nights just to write you this poem
But by the time I finish it you'll already be far away
And you'll never hear
Me say "I love you"
Because your life will be filled
With new people, new places, new memories and new faces
And I'll just be another name at the back of your head
A scratch at the board of your bed
just another friend
Dear Violet Markey,
Now that that you're gone,
I just wanna say you were fantastic
Because you brought out the best in me
You brought out the best of me
You were the best of me
You were the best thing that ever happened to me.
You were the best thing that happened
You were the best thing
You were the best
You were
You...
No...
Dear Violet Markey,
You were the best thing that never happened to me
