Aria's P.0.V

Today was the first day in a long time that I didn't feel like giving up. This was a day were I wanted to try, I was going to a party with Elena. It was family night, but technically I would be with my family. I knew dad would get mad. Mom on the other hand would probably blow it off. It was our reckless years, or she liked to call them. Aunt Jenna was coming over and we were going to watch movies. But what teenager wants to stay home on a Friday night. Well usually I would but Elena said I have been missing out on a school tradition. I have heard about the bonfire but I had never in my two years at being in Mystic Falls High School. I was finally going to let loose and have fun.

I was excited to go to the party my friends would be there but Elena insisted I hang with her and her friends tonight. Caroline and Bonnie loved me, so did Matt. We sometimes hang out when Elena doesn't want to. I don't mind. When we got to the party we all hung out for awhile. I tried to stay sober so I could drive Elena later, but that didn't work. Matt took my keys. I noticed later in that Matt and Elena were fighting. "I want to get married and have kids. Move the hell out of Mystic falls and go to college." Matt yelled at her. "I just don't know if I want the same things!" Elena was arguing. I thought I should step in, but that wasn't the best idea ever. I walked away and gave them privacy.

I saw a man laying in the middle of the road. I ran to him and tried to shake him. "Oh my are you ok. Do I need 911?" I kept asking but I got no answer.

Damon's P.0.V

I was going to do my usual trap and grab, but some how this was different. She freaked out like a normal person would, but her voice was like silk. I could only imagine what her face looked like. I sat up and stared into her eyes. She had green, beautiful eyes that shone threw the night. Her face was contoured with concern. For some reason I didn't feel the need to feed off of her. "Are you all right?" She asked with a hint of paranoia. "Uhh... Yeah thanks." I really didn't have words around this girl. "I must have fell or something. I'm Damon." I said trying to act casual. "I am Aria." She said with a brilliant smile. This woman did things to me. Made my head all fuzzy and my heart beat faster.

"Well it looks like my sister is done fighting.... Time to tend to her needs." Aria said with a hint of sadness. "Why don't you take care of yourself? Do what you want?" I asked her. "I guess it's because I don't know what I want." This was easy, to easy. "That's not true. You want what everybody wants," I said. "You want a love that consumes you. You want passion, and adventure, and a little danger." She looked shocked, "You seem to know everything about me, except I never get what I want." She reminded me of someone but I couldn't tell who yet. And Aria walked away.

Aria's P.0.V

What an odd man. He acted confident and risky, but seemed to be a poet at heart. That or he has been around enough he is classified. Ha. I am funny. I walked up to Elena and she was on the phone with Mom asking for a ride. From what I could tell we were in big trouble. When Mom and Dad got here they informed us of our punishments and we drove off. "Hey Dad take the old Wickorey Bridge. I hear it's beautiful at night." I offered. "That sounds like a good idea." Dad said. We started to drive down the bridge. The last thing I remember was a man, and then our car went off the bridge. Then sunk to the bottom. We got out of the car some how but our parents weren't so lucky.

I woke up to bright lights and a nurse checking in on me. In the next bed was Elena. I looked over and Jeremy and Aunt Jenna were sleeping soundly. Then the black came rushing back.
