Chapter 8

Aria's P.0.V

After a long night of tests, all I wanted to do was sleep. Elena came knocking. "Aria, are you ok?" Somethng was wrong. Elena was never this, sweet? "Um yeah? I thought you went home?" She shook her head and gave a silly laugh. "Why would I do that? I am your sister. We have to stick together you know?" It sounded more like she was trying to convince herself, than me. I was about to press the nurse call button, but Elena stepped forward. "I wouldn't do that." She said with a sinister smile. Then Jeremy walked in and  I froze. "Hello Jeremy." The look -alike said. "Hey Elena, how is she." She laughed and said, "Not good, not good at all." The look-alike injected me with something and the world went black. For what felt like the last time.

Stefan's P.0.V

I woke up with a start. I looked around and saw I was in the woods. Some how I felt better than usual. Then I saw the blood splashed across the ground and on me. I backed up as far as I could. But I hit something. I turned around and saw Elena. "What are you doing here?" I said feverishly. "I am here to collect you." Then she snapped my neck and I saw nothing.

Damon's P.0.V

Katherine. My only thought. If I couldn't have Elena, then I wanted Katherine. And she found me. Not Stefan, me. I would do anything for her. And according to Katherine all I had to do was make Stefan kill. That would be easy. She found me on the way to the boarding house. Her charming ways always found a way to get me to obey. I ws to bring Stefan to the clearing in the woods. But right as I reached the clearing, I knew this was wrong I sensed humans. I raced ahead and saw Aria bound with ropes and next to her, Jeremy.

"Katherine what is the means to this?" I asked. "This wasn't the deal." She gave a sultry smile. "There was never a deal. We need the old Stefan, and that means humans." I was getting angry. "Not these two..." I said sternly. "Why?" She snapped. Why wasn't I letting her? I have no pity for these humans. But Aria was... different. She understands. She makes me human again. "Just not these two, ok." She started to whine. "But these ones are already here." I kicked Stefan forward. "I don't wan to hurt the girl, or the boy. I'll go find someone else." She started to get cocky. "Do you know her?" I didn't say anything. "You do! And you... like her?" I turned my head. "Ah yes this just makes things even more fun, well fo me." She then sighed and thought for a while. "Ok, ok. You kill the girl and Stefan can kill the boy." I couldn't do that. "Do it Damon. Prove you love for me." She pleaded. I looked her in the eyes. "No." I said sternly.

"Fine then..." Stefan started to wake up. She smiled sinisterly. "Stefan can." She tilted Aria's neck and bit her. I raced forwards and pulled Aria away from Katherine. Stefan was awayke, and fully aware of Aria. He sped to her. "What happened...." I saw him changing. He recognized the blood. I pulled Aria up bridal style and sped away. I took her somewhere safe. I would go back later and see if Jeremy is there. Right now she is the most important person to me.

Aria's P.0.V

I woke up and my first thought was Jer. Were was he? "Jeremy?" I yelled. Damon came in to the room and looked sad. "I am so sorry Aria." Then he looked mad. "I am going to kill Katherine." I was so confused. "Why would Elena do that to us?" I asked. I knew it wasn't Elena but I wanted answers. "It wasn't Elena. It was Katherine." Ok that makes sense. "Where is Jer?" He looked to the ground. "I am so sorry Aria, he is dead." And reality came crashing down on me.
