Chapter 9

"It will be okay Lou." Danny said as she watched me tuck in my button up into my slacks.

"I don't know if it will be okay."

"Are you more worried about seeing Harry if he shows, or Lottie actually becoming a mother today at her gender reveal party?"

"Both."

"Look, we didn't travel all the way to Doncaster for you to chicken out now. You can do this. Be happy for Lottie and don't mind Harry if you see him okay? You've got me there to help you out."

"I know I have you here to help me out, but it's still scary to face you know?"

"Yeah." She nodded. "I get what your trying to tell me."

I just looked in the mirror with no expression.

"Come on and put a smile on for your sister. Our Uber just got here."

"Alright." I said attempting the smile.

"Come on Lou." Danny said turning me around to face her. "Smile for me."

I gave her a fake smile.

"Awe see. Look how cute." she said and pressed her lips to mine. "Now lets go." she said and took my hand to lead me down from our hotel to the Uber.

You know, Harry, Marcel, or even Edward would have caught that fake smile.

Danny and I then got into the car and they started driving us to my mom's house where the gender reveal party was happening. You know, my mom and siblings don't know about me yet. I told Niall not to spill. So, I'm going to tell them today after Lottie's excitement so I don't take away from that.

Once we arrived, Danny and I got out and tipped the driver after thanking him. We then walked up to the house, knocked, and my mom answered the door.

"Louis dear!" mom shouted and hugged me tight.

"Hi mommy." I laughed and squeezed her tight.

I hope my son or daughter and I have a relationship like I have with my mom.

"How have you been?" she asked letting go of me.

"Great." I smiled.

"Where is Harry?" she asked.

"Oh um, I don't think Niall told you, but we broke up."

"Oh honey." she frowned. "We'll talk about that later."

"Yeah, we will." I nodded. "But, I'd like to introduce you to my girlfriend Danielle."

"Girlfriend? As in, like friend?"

"As in romance."

"Oh, woe." mom said turning to her.

"Hello, I'm Danny." Danielle smiled.

"I'm Johannah."

"Nice to meet you."

"Like wise." mom smiled. "Well, come in guys. The party has started."

We then walked in hand in hand and had to explain to everyone who came up to us that Harry and I were over and Danny was my girlfriend not a girl friend.

"So, how are you Lots?" I asked my little sister that was pregnant with my friend Niall's baby.

"Great actually. Niall is the sweetest. He helps me out with everything." Lottie smiled widely as she rubbed her tummy. I wanted to rub mine, but couldn't since no one knows yet.
