Tuning

Practicing is essential to leaning how to play the guitar but if you're practicing with a out of tune guitar it could do the opposite of what you're trying to accomplish.

There are a couple ways to tune your guitar but here's the way I do it. If you have a phone or tablet of some sort you can get the app "Guitar Tuna" spelled like the fish.
There it will show you how to tune your guitar properly.

If you don't have access to that there are some guitar tuners you can buy that you put on the head of your guitar to tune.

Some people can tune there guitar without a tuner and do it just by listening.

Some guitars even have tuners built in them. If you want one like that I have a Yamaha APX500 that comes with one inside.
