It's important to know what everything is called on the guitar so when it is referenced you know what is being discussed and what to do.
This is called the Nut and is important for tuning and the sound of your strings. Located at the top of the neck.
The hole in the middle of the guitar is the Sound Hole and is what you guessed it, makes the sound.
The Tuning Pegs is what you'll twist and turn to tune your guitar.
The horizontal lines on the guitar are called Frets and they show you where to put your fingers, kinda like a diagram.
Lastly this is called a Bridge and it is what holds the strings from the tuning pegs.
