For who could hate his ocean eyes, swirling with beautiful blue?
No one could despise those gentle words that stuck to your heart like glue.
I did not find any fault with his laugh, his smile, nor his everything.
With him, I felt as if I could float away, forget my worries, and sing...
For who could love his swampy eyes, covered with muck and grime?
No one could enjoy that gentleness that turned to harshness due to time.
I found every fault with his faux expressions, laced not with sweetness, but with lies.
Without him, I felt as if I could face reality, and open up my disbelieving eyes.
