Chapter 8 - Payback

Kian's POV

I just finished talking to the police and started heading to Caitlin's place. I could still hear her scream. This asshole needs to learn a lesson or two about how to treat a lady.

JC and I got to Cailtin's and I could see JC fuming. He doesn't like it when people hurt Cait that's why he was so iffy about us at the start but since I'm his best friend, he trusts me. 'Hey Kian. The cops are coming. I hear the sirens.' 'Wow that was fast. Other times they take hours to get here or something like that but since this is a domestic abuse call they would have definitely come faster.' 'Yeah that's true. You ready to go in and stop the fucker?' 'I was born ready. No one hurts my girlfriend.' We would have waited for the cops to get here but when JC is pissed, there is no waiting for anyone.

As soon as we got to Caitlin's room, the door was locked. We had no way to knock it down without damaging the whole frame. Luckily I know where the spare key to her room is hidden. As soon as I opened to door, I saw Danny beating the shit out of her and I couldn't take it anymore. Before JC could do anything, I jumped the fuckers ass. He has no right to be disrespecting a girl like that. I was so close to punching him but I knew that I would get in trouble too. 'You better wait a little Kian. I see them outside.' Danny knew what we were talking about and started to bolt from the room but JC blocked his ass from leaving. I ran downstairs to the cops to show them where the felony was happening.

After the cops came, they arrested Danny and took the camera footage with them as evidence. Now Caitlin has a choice if she wasn't to press charges or not.

Caitlin' POV

I was so shaken up that I couldn't make any decision now. That was the worse that he has ever hit me. I am bruised everywhere. 'Hey Kian, can you take me to the hospital?' 'Sure babe.' I don't think I will be able to sleep in this house again.
