Chapter 20 - The surprise

Kian's POV

I was looking everywhere for Caitlin that when I gave up, a nurse came up to me. 'Excuse me, are you Mr. Lawley?' 'Yes I am. Where is my wife?' 'Could you please come with me?' Why isn't anyone telling me where Cait is?

The nurse took me to the other side of the hospital and I saw Caitlin just lying on the bed, unconscious. 'What is going on? Why is she like this?' 'I am very sorry Mr. Lawley but your wife didn't make the delivery. She told me before she left to tell you to take care of your daughter and to tell Justin that she loves him.' I can't believe it. I just don't understand how this could have happened. I thought that she would have survived the delivery but I guess I was wrong.

I walked into Caitlin's room and I just broke down into tears. Seeing her like this was not what I wanted. 'Kian?' Did I just hear her voice? 'Cait? Are you alive?' 'Hey baby.' I was now in utter shock. I ran and got the doctor. He did some tests and told me that she got lucky.

Caitlin's POV

I just woke up after having my baby girl and saw Kian crying into the side of my bed. After a while I heard the doctor telling Kian that I should have died but the truth is that I did die and I saw my mum but she told me that it wasn't my time and for me to come back to take care of her granddaughter. I was really happy to see her after all this time.

Its been a few hours since I woke up and I finally saw my baby girl. She is so beautiful. She looks like Kian and my mum. I still haven't come up with a name for her. I should talk to Kian and see what he has in mind for a name. 'Hey Kian, have you thought of a name for our daughter?' 'Well, as you were sleeping, I thought of at least two names. Charlotte and Kylie.' 'Well they are both so beautiful, why not give her both names?' 'Good idea. I'll go tell the doctors that we have thought of a name.' This may have been a scary day at the beginning but it all came out perfect in the end.
