Chapter 21 - Could this be the end of our story?

5 years later

Caitlin's POV

It's been about 5 years since I moved to LA, got married to the love of my life and had my beautiful daughter. The last time I spoke to y'all, I had just had Charlotte and she has been the cutest baby ever. She just started to talk and walk so that's going to make going to the shops harder since she has Danny's habits of touching everything. Let's just hope that in the future she doesn't find out that her real dad is a criminal. Speaking of Danny, he made bail last night and he wants to see Charlotte. I will never let him near her. He is a monster and I don't want her to see what kind of man he is. 'Mummy, I want ice cream.' Oh great now I have to go to the shops for ice cream. Perks of being a stay-at-home mum. 'Okay sweetie. Go and put your shoes on and we will go.'

We got home from the shops and Charlotte has been eating the ice cream since I bought it. She has definitely seen how Kian is and took from him. Even though he isn't her real dad, he has been a bigger dad then Danny would have been. I know for sure that he would have her doing everything for him because that's how he was towards to me every day we were together. JC has been the most amazing brother and uncle these past 5 years. He went and saw dad last year and I know that dad would have loved seeing him after 10 years. 'Hey Cait, can you come here for a second?' 'Yea sure.' I wonder what that's about.

I got to JC's room and saw that he was watching the news. 'Hey bro. What's going on?' 'Did you hear? Danny is on the news.' Oh shit. What did he do to make Charlotte see him? 'What did he do now?' 'He went to the news people and told them that he is going to try and take Charlie away from you. He is calling you an unfit mother.' 'What did the fucker say about me?!' Oh that dickhead is dead. 'Can you look after Charlie for me?' 'No need to ask.'

I got the news room and saw that Danny was still there. 'Danny. What the hell are you doing calling me an unfit mother when you are the one who raped me and made me fall pregnant with the baby? You have as much right to see her as my mum does and she is dead.' 'Well you're the one who won't let me see her.' 'She doesn't have to see you. She is on 5 years old. She doesn't even know you exist and it will stay that way. I don't want her to have anything to do with you. When she is older and she asks who her real dad is, I'll tell her that I don't know and that he was a donor.' 'You can't do that to me.' 'I can do whatever I want. First of all, I am her mother and Kian is her father and second of all, you are just a piece of shit who hit me and raped me for their own amusement. You can go to hell. I don't want to hear your name or voice ever again. And if you try and call us, I will call the lawyers to draw up a restraining order against you. Do you understand?' 'Yes I do.'

Kian's POV

I got home from work and saw that Caitlin wasn't here. 'Hey Charlie, where is mummy?' 'I don't know. Ask Uncle Justin.' I went up to JC's room and saw him editing videos. 'Hey JC, where's Caitlin?' 'You don't wanna know.' 'Yea I do.' 'She went down to the news room cause Danny was on there call him her an unfit mother.' 'That son of a bitch. Did she go to kick his ass?' 'Yea she did. She should be home soon to tell you about it.' 'Okay.' Caitlin is the best wife and mother ever. I am do glad she moved here for a change in her life.
