Chapter 10 - Leaving the past in the past

12 weeks later

Caitlin's POV

It has been a few weeks since I was attacked by Danny and today is my first check up since it happened. Kian and JC have been so sweet letting me stay with them. I love that I have my big bro and my boyfriend with me instead of me being back home with no one with me. I haven't been able to have sex since the incident cause of how bad Danny hurt me. 'Hey Cait, you ready to go?' I wish Kian was coming with me but he has to shoot for his new movie. 'Yea Justin. I'm just getting a jacket.'

We got to the hospital and the feeling I had before isn't as bad now. We started walking to the main desk but I couldn't deal with this. 'Justin, I can't do this. I'm way too scared to find out anything.' 'It's okay Cait. If anything bad comes up, we will deal with it together. All three of us.' 'Thanks bro.' We got to the reception and there was a long line. It was finally our turn. 'Hello, how can I help you?' 'Hi. I have an appointment today. Name is Caitlin Caylen.' 'Ah yes. Please take a seat and a doctor will be with you shortly.' Luckily there aren't too many people before me.

My appointment was at 2pm, I got here at 1:30pm and now its 3pm. I hate when they take forever. I was just about fed up with waiting when the doctor just came out and said my name. I walked into the doctor's room with JC because I didn't want to find anything without him. 'Okay doctor. What's the news?' 'Well Caitlin, do you want the good news or the bad news?' 'I'll take the good news first.' 'Okay well you have no STDs or STIs but the bad news is that due to the fact that you were raped, you are also pregnant.' 'What the hell? I having that assholes kid?' 'Yes. I am very sorry about that. I could give you some fliers on abortion.' 'No way. Abortion is out of the question. Not in a million years would I let my little sister do that to an unborn child.' This is why I wanted JC in the room with me. If he wasn't in here with me, I would have probably said yes to see the fliers.

We got home after the doctors and it was time to face the music with Kian. I hope he is as supportive as JC was. 'Hey Kian, are you home?' 'Hey baby. How was the doctors?' 'Well the good news is that I have no STDs or STIs but the bad news is that I am pregnant.'c
