I walked up the many sets of old, long steps up to the Divination Tower. They were marble. And looked as if they used to be pure white. Now, they were off-white, they had a bit of a yellow tinge to their color. After going up all of the stairs, I knocked on the old wooden door. I heard a 'Come in,' from the professor, so I opened large, oak door. It squeaked as I opened it. I walked into the classroom, hearing a small tap on the floor every time that I took a step.

"Hello, professor," I greeted her.

"Oh, hello, dear. You're a bit early," She said, rapidly cleaning up the room.

"I mean, class did just end, and I headed straight here, so it makes sense that I'm so early," I said, helping her by picking up some teacups.

"Thank you for helping me, dear. This would have taken me the whole evening to sage the whole room," she said, with a small smile on her wrinkly face.

"It's no problem, really, I do love the smell of sage."

We saged the room, which took a tad bit longer then I would have liked it to, since we had to sage every single teacup and item in the room

We saged the room, which took a tad bit longer then I would have liked it to, since we had to sage every single teacup and item in the room. I stared, longingly, out the window to see Quidditch practice over, with everyone heading back inside.

I picked up a teacup, with a small trio of baby pink roses on it, and a golden rim. "Oh, we forgot a cup," I said, handing her the teacup.

She took it, and looked into it ,and immediately started to shake vigorously.

"Oh, no, my dear," She said, shakily, fear in her voice, "This is meant for you."

"But I wasn't in the last class," I answer, confused, cocking my head.

"No, no, it's for you, dear. You found it at a table that no one was sitting at. See this shape?" She said, pointing to a blob of tea leaves. "This here represents a Crystal, that's your name. And this one, this is a skull, meaning danger. And this shape, this means 'a friend.' Oh, my dear, this shows that someone very close to you is going to get very, very hurt. Oh, this is serious, you need to keep those whom you love close."

"Um

"Um... right," I said, skeptically, "Okay, well, I'm going to go back to the common room," I said, hastily grabbing my things, and running out of the classroom.

I tried to get back to the common room as quickly as I could, even though I wasn't too believing in tea leaf reading, I wanted to make sure that everyone was safe. I turned a corner, and almost ran right into someone. I regained my balance, and looked up to see those unmistakable green eyes, and the unique freckles. I looked to see him still wearing his Quidditch robes and equipment, which makes him look even more stunning than he usually was.

"Careful," Newt said, as he held onto my wrist.

"Newt, what are you doing here? I would have thought that you would be at the common room already," I asked, quite confused.

"Well, I had a feeling that you were still going to be here, so I decided to surprise you. Surprise!" he said, giggling at his own joke.

"Thanks, Newt. Let's go back. I want to drop most my stuff off before dinner."

"I need to change as well," he said, still having a grin from his joke, covering his remaining giggles with coughs.

"How was practice?" I asked as we walked through the halls.

"Okay, I suppose. I, um.. nearly got hit by a bludger today, nasty little bugger, but I didn't end up getting hit, in the end. Must have been this good luck charm that I had today," He said, holding up the necklace.

I could feel my face turning bright red as I looked downwards.

"Oh, here," He said, starting to take it off.

"Keep it," I said, softly, putting my hand over top of his hand, to prevent him from taking it off

"Keep it," I said, softly, putting my hand over top of his hand, to prevent him from taking it off. "Just in case I can't make it to future practices."

"Oh, are you sure? Didn't your dad get you this during your first year?" He asked, making sure that it was alright, obviously feeling uncomfortable being gifted something with personal value.

I stared at him with wide eyes, shocked that he would remember something like that. I told him in our first year, a while before we became close.

"Um, yes, he did. But... I think that he would be like you keeping it with you."

He smiled the whole way as we walked back to the common room. We entered it to see it full of students talking, chatting, and doing their homework.

"I'll see you at dinner," I said, waving goodbye as he walked into his room.

"Right, I.. I'll meet you at the Great Hall." He said, returning the wave.

I nodded as I headed up the stairs to the girls' dormitory. I walked into my room, and saw Jennifer and Kelly sitting on their beds, doing their homework.

"Hey, how did that sage thing go?" Jennifer asked, staring at her paper.

"Fine, other than the fact that I missed the Quidditch practice entirely by the time that we finished. We had to sage every little item, even every single teacup. Every single one, but, something weird did happen," I said, looking out the window to see a small finch on a tree branch.

"What?" they asked in unison, finally looking up from their papers, intrigued by what I was about to say.

"Well, I picked up a teacup that we had missed, and I handed it to her. She started to shake, and got a scared look on her face. She was reading the cup, and then said that she saw a crystal, my name, and was saying that something really bad was going to happen to someone close to me, and that I need to keep those that I loved close to me. I'm afraid that it's about Newt playing Quidditch, I mean, he almost got hit by a bludger today," I answer, with a concerned tone.

"You know that she says stuff like that all the time, and the things never really happen, right? Remember when she said that one kid was going to perish last year. He's still walking around the school, pretty alive. Although, he did almost die, so...." Kelly trailed off.

"Kelly!" Jennifer snapped. "That professor predicts that kind of stuff all of the time. I wouldn't get too worked up over it. Maybe keep it in mind, but don't stress out over it," Jennifer said, surprising me that she wasn't in Ravenclaw. "Now, can you help me with my potions homework? I'm having trouble with some of the ingredients."

"Sure," I answered.

We sat there, simply just doing our schoolwork, until it was time to go to dinner

"Oh, Newt said that he was going to meet us there. He had to get cleaned up after practice," I told them, and we headed off.
