Willow
I woke up at sunrise in my bed with a tux jacket on top of me. I knew that it had to be Brayden's. Otherwise, if it wasn't I don't know how I would live with myself. I sat up and looked around my room to make sure that no one was sleeping in my room, just to be safe. There wasn't anyone in my room besides me. My bedroom door was closed, and my light was off, but the sunlight shines through my curtains illuminating the entire room.
I got up from my bed. It was chilly in my room, so I put on the tux jacket. I opened up my bedroom door and slowly walked out of my room.
I walked down the hallway and into the kitchen. I made myself a waffle. I never really liked toast, but waffles and pancakes are a different story.
My parents weren't up yet, so I took the waffle that I had made back to my room and consumed it before I put on a pair of skinny jeans, a sweater, and my black Converse. I wore Brayden's tux jacket as my coat. The tux jacket was really big on me, but I didn't care because it was Brayden's.
I wonder where he lives, so I can give him his tux jacket back. I grabbed a backpack and put a packed lunch in it along with some other stuff just in case I don't find my way back, which was doubtful considering I am a really good tracker.
After I filled the backpack, I slowly exited my house and left my parents inside sleeping with no clue that I left. I don't care if they worry because when they do, they don't really send out anyone because they know I can find my way around, so they don't bother. I put my arms through the backpacks straps and was on my way. I started walking straight because I knew the other royal pack was in that direction, but finding Brayden's house was a totally different situation.
I have never been to the Luster royal pack before.
I reached the other royal pack quickly, and I looked around trying to make sure that no one would see me. I took the tux jacket off and took in the smell of oak trees, sap, and Brayden's scent of woodland musk. I searched for that same scent and got a trail.
I followed the trail until it ended at a house made of oak wood and there were trees surrounding the house except from where I entered. I slowly walked up to the house and hesitated for a couple minutes.
Should I knock or should I just wait, I thought to myself.
I didn't know what to say to him nor how to act around him. After about a solid five minutes of thinking about what to say to him, I came to the conclusion to just be myself and if that wasn't enough for him too bad. I extended my arm and finally at last had enough courage and confidence to knock on the door. At first no one came, so I waited a second more. When there wasn't an answer, I started walking away from the house.
Maybe they are out, I thought, or maybe he didn't want to see me.
I was walking moderately slow so that they could get to the door before I was completely out of sight if they were home and awake. I reached the edge of their property and looked back for a solid minute. I wish he would have answered. I turned around and started walking away.
Brayden
I heard a knock on the door. I got up and hurriedly changed into a pair of jeans, a black t-shirt, and Nike tennis shoes. I made sure to walk slowly so that my parents wouldn't hear me. I went to the door and opened it, there was no one there. Where was the person who knocked on my house door? I looked outside and couldn't see anyone, but I sensed someone. I ran out the door and ran to the edge of my property.
I didn't see anyone yet, but I kept running down the path. After two minutes of running down the path, I came across someone. They were about a hundred feet in front of me. She was wearing a black jacket that was too large for her, a backpack, jeans, and a sweater. I remembered that I left Willow with my tux jacket, and my heart began to beat rapidly at the thought that she came looking for me.
"Willow!" I yelled at her as I ran. She turned her head around at the sound of her name and stopped walking.
I smiled as I was running toward her. She came looking for me and found my house. Note to self never make her mad enough to where your only option is to hide because she will always find you. I was getting closer to her and could smell her sweet scent of lavender and honey. It made my wolf go wild knowing that she was close by again. She was who I dreamed about since I knew of her existence, and now she came looking for me and succeeded.
I stopped running when I got close enough to her to walk, and she just stood there silently watching me approach her.
I've never felt so special in my entire life until yesterday, but today I feel complete by her presence. I can't think of the last time before today that I ever felt complete. Not even a fraction of the feeling before this moment. She was so beautiful standing there in the morning sunlight with the sun rising behind her. She is my sweet angel. My beautiful queen, but most of all she is mine and I am hers.
