( Evelyn's POV )

I've been trapped in here for too long. Wayy too long. I swim over to my cave when he approaches me.
" Hey Austin." I smile, waving him over.
He gives me a look saying, I can't right now. Not a good day today. I simply shrug my shoulders saying, it's ok see you tomorrow morning! I head over to my cave, slightly lifting up the seaweed so I can quickly slip in. I would say my cave looks like a dream come true. But really it's a cell. No not those types of cells in your body.
Haha. Get my joke? Heh sorry.
Anyways I've gotten used to it. Living in here for like-
Wait. How long have I been in here? Ugh. Too many years to remember. Too many memories.
I shake my thoughts out of my head, and jump onto my tempa-pedic mattress.
Yes we have those down below.
Above me I pull a picture down. It's me and Joslyn. I miss her. But mom hates me. That's why she's been stopping Joslyn from coming here. Yes, it's dangerous coming here, but I'm her twin sister. What do you expect? But first let me tell you how I got in here.
Welcome to my thoughts. Anyways, in my fathers office he keeps weird things in there. Trust me when I say weird. Joslyn and I were rummaging through, trying to find something good. We came across a book. Dusty, old, and sinister looking. I grabbed it the minute I saw it. I started flipping through the pages. " Evelyn! Be careful! They are dangerous things in there!" Joslyn warned. " No there aren't!" I said happily. Oh I was so, SOO wrong. And Joslyn, being the smart one of the two, was right. She glared at me, but I shrugged it off. I came across a ripped page. How ironic. It said, " Spell of the tra-" And that was where it ripped. I took the book, and ran out to the pond. The pond was special. It was built from the gods tears of pain. I read the page out loud, obviously pronouncing things wrong, and skipping little parts. Then huge winds started to blow around me. The pond started churning. I was slipping into the pond. Joslyn ran and grabbed my hand, trying to hold on, while looking for a spell to make it stop. But when she found it, it was too late. And here I am now. Now get out of my thoughts!
I yawned a bit, and lumbered over to my closet, yanking out my lavender night gown. Throwing it on, I disappear into a room, struggling to roll the boulder out.
" Ugh. Come on! Push a little harder?" I groaned, as I attempted to move the boulder out to the doorway. I turned off all the lights except for my fire fountain. ( It keeps me warm) Locked everything shut, and nestled into bed. There are reasons why we do these safety procedures. To stay away from the Badlounds. That's what we call bad spirits. They will take your soul and energy if you make eye contact with them. Plus they're strong. If a Badlound somehow escapes, ( yes there are ways, but it's dangerous. Like really.) they turn into Shadows. That monster that almost killed my sister. But Joslyn says she's close to finding my way out. I hope that's true.
" YALLLWWWNN!" I stretch my body out, and flop my head onto my pillow, drifting off to sleep.
When will I go back home?
" I miss you Joslyn." I mutter as I fall asleep.
Hey. Can you do me a favor before I leave? Please watch Joslyn. Make sure she's alright. If you get the chance, tell her this: I know where the book is. Also tell her I love her. Can you do that? Well whatever the answer, please try. Good night!

Thanks for reading! Hope you like Evelyn's POV for today! I'll be back tomorrow with another chapter! 💋
