Chapter 5

Jason's POV

This whole time our fingers were intertwined, she laid on my chest and we watched movies.

"Jase I'm tired." She said rubbing her eyes, she's so cute.

"Let's go to bed then." I smirked, picking her up and walked upstairs.

I put her on her bed and she fell asleep straight away, I guess she's really tired today, I pulled her into my arms and fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, I heard car starting, so I woke up and I couldn't see Cathy anywhere.

Cathy's POV

I got a phone call, I picked up trying to keep it quiet so I wouldn't wake Jason up.

"Hey Bruce, what's up?"

"We have an urgent meeting, hurry up and get here." Bruce's voice deepened, sounding serious.

"Sure, do you need Jason?"

"Not at the moment, John's already on his way and you should hurry." After that, he hung up.

I quickly got dressed and started my car, I hope I didn't wake Jason up, he looked so peacefully when he's sleeping.

Soon I got to the meeting, before I walked in, I heard John and Bruce argue.

"No! We can't let her do that! You know how dangerous that is!"

"What other choices do we have? There's no other choices John."

I opened the door and walked in.

"What's up?" I asked without emotions.

"We need to get Scott, his dad is not a threat to us anymore, but Scott, we need him dead." Bruce started.

"What do I have to do with that?" I pulled out a chair and sat down.

"he's always at the club, we need you to get close to him so --" before he could finish I cut him off.

"So you me to be with him so you guys can find a chance to kill him?" I looked up at Bruce.

"Look Cath we don't want you to but we have no choices."

"Bruce! This is too dangerous! she's not doing it!!" John yelled at Bruce.

"If he doesn't die, our whole crew could be finished! You really want that to happen?" Bruce yelled back, the room went silent.

"I'll think about it." I replied, breaking the silence and walked out.

After I got home, I threw my keys and sat on the couch and I heard someone walked downstairs.

"(Y/n)? Where did you go?" I heard Jason ask.

"Just.... Somewhere, it's okay." I looked at him and gave him a weak smile.

He walked down and sat next to me and hugged me and kissed my forehead.

"I just want you to know, I'm always here, forever and ever." He said softly.

That's where I started crying.

"They never cared! The only thing they want is to get all the missions done, they hate me, I swear that they'll kill me when I'm worthless, I hate it! I want to leave but I can't, Jase, please promise that you'll never leave me no matter what!" I cried even harder after I finished.

"I promise." I heard him say.

After that, we cuddled the whole night and finally fell asleep again.

I had a weird dream, it's not even a dream, it's just a flashback really.

~flashback~

I was walking alone on the street, I had no where to live, why am I the last person to know that my parents died?

I stopped when I heard footsteps behind me, I turned around, I see a man dressed in black, he was with a little boy.

"Why are you here?" The man looked at me.

"Why can't I be here?" For some reason I'm not afraid of him.

"Why are you alone?"

"None of you business."

"You can join us if you want." I heard him say.

"Why? Why do you even care?"

"If you don't join us, you'll die, you seem useful to us, we can give you place to live, food, basically everything you want."

Yes, I just nodded my head, I don't want to die yet! And how am I useful to them? But I didn't ask that.

"I'm Bruce and this is John. Follow us." Bruce said.

~end of flashback~

I woke up in Jason's arms, he gave me feelings that no other guys gave me before, this is real love right?
