Natsu's PoV

After Erza slammed mine and Lucy's heads together, I instantly got flustered from the close contact. She was sitting with Levy, probably talking about books or Gajeel and Levy. I thought it would be good to ask her about what I felt just now. "Lucy. I just felt something weird just now." I cut to the chase, immediately getting tackled by Gray. "Not today!" He shouted, creating an ice hammer, which was bigger than two of us combined. "Nii-chan/Gray-sama stop!" Lucy and Juvia cried, stopping him from trying to kill me. He tutted and walked off to a table with Juvia hugging him. Lucy sighed in relief and ran over to me, kneeling to look me in the eye. "He didn't hurt you, did he?" She got in my face, her hands on her knees as a single strand on hair fell in her face. She looked so pretty. And I probably looked a mess with my vest half hanging off one arm and shards of ice in my hair. "You don't look it, but you might have hit your head." She raised her hands to my hair, picking out the pieces of ice that I'm surprised didn't melt. As she sat up on her knees again, she cocked her head in confusion. "Natsu, your cheeks are re-." She couldn't finish her sentence due to the fact that I pulled her face to my own. I had one arm behind me to support my weight with the other in her hair. Her forehead was resting on mine as she blushed intensely. (Just so you're wondering, they didn't kiss. Muhahhaha.

Looking into each other's eyes for a while, we heard a thud from behind the bar. "Mira! Mira! Don't fan girl so much! You could go into comatose!" I heard Kinana panic, signifying that it was Mira who had fainted. "I'm alright! Where's my camera!" Mira jumped up, instantly sprinting around the guild. That's when Lucy and I realised what had happened, and jumped apart. Mira immediately started crying. "Don't worry Mira-san, I took a picture for you." Wendy jumped over to her, holding a camera around her neck. "Oh Wendy! You're turning into the best apprentice!" Mira hugged her, almost suffocating the child. "I'll add it to the photo album!" Mira cried again, taking the camera and running to the back of the guild.

"I-I'm going to go train... Um, yeah... Bye." Lucy shot up, turning around and walked quickly out of the guild. I clutched my head in surprise. What the hell came over me? "You're a dead man Natsu!" Gray screamed from the corner of the guild, Juvia holding him back from doing just that. I decided to follow Lucy, thinking it was the best idea in the world right now.

Behind the guild, I saw Lucy tearing stuff up frantically. "Need any help?" I walked over, my hands behind my back as I waddled. "I felt something here before I left. I was just hoping it was still here." She mumbled, also pretending nothing had happened before hand as her serious expression drew me in. "What is it?" I squatted down beside her, lazily drawing in the dirt. "A book." She replied, not taking much notice of me as she stuck her arm down a hole she had dug. "Ah!" She exclaimed, pulling out a dirty, woven bag and her entire arm covered in dust. She turned the bag upside down and a book fell out of it. "What's that?" I peered over her shoulder as she traced the books cover. "A history book. It contains the story of the Ice Goddess and how God slaying magic started. It also has a few spells I need." She stood up. With the flick of her finger, all the dirt that had been dug up filled the hole once again.

We went back to her house, with was a homely apartment. I immediately took notice of the window, which I saw had a broken latch. Lucy sat on her floor and opened the book, laying out some piece of paper that had previously been removed. They looked like spells, but the inscription was ancient. I picked one up, but immediately got a weird vibe from it, putting it back where it was. "Only ice wizards can read this." Lucy said aloud, if it was yo me or to herself, I'll never know. "What's this one?" I pointed at the one I just picked up. "The one I needed. Thanks Nastu." She kissed my cheek in gratitude and picked up the paper, holding it up to the light, freezing the paper. As she began muttering something, the characters on the paper unseen because of the ice, light up in white and purple.

She was casting the spell.

Lucy's PoV

As I muttered the ancient spell, I could feel the effects working on me. It was a fortune telling spell, letting the caster see any type of threat for the future. My left eye, which still had the purple water drop on it, started glowing. Lord Yama called it special, saying that it saved me and that it had magical powers. Basically his was a crazy old man at the time. The only thing special about this eye is that I have X-Ray vision when I close the opposite one. Images started flashing through my brain.

At first, I saw through my own eyes that I was in a hospital bed, my stomach bigger than it should be, blurry because of tears of pain that ran through me. My present time stomach started hurting at the same time, but I continued to see the future as Natsu called out to me in the distance. The next thing I heard was a crying baby, and Natsu's encouraging words. Then they all stopped.

I blinked once and my vision was back to normal, but I had a Natsu in my face. "Luce?! Are you okay? Wake up!" He screamed, tears in his eyes. I just sat up like it was no big deal and rubbed my eyes. "What the hell was that?!" He screamed at me again. "A fortune telling spell. But I didn't realise I would be in the moment." I thought quizzically, pinching my chin. "I'll have to write that down." I nodded, taking the paper to my desk and writing in the old inscription. "Are you going to tell me what the hell you just saw?!" Nastu screamed again, walking up and shaking me. "I was in the hospital and heard a baby crying. Then you told me everything was okay and now we're hear. My stomach hurt, but that's the worst of it." I shrugged, getting a little motion sickness at Natsu shaking me so vigorously. "We should go ask master about this." Natsu told me as I flopped on on my bed. "Nah, later. I'm exhausted. Ancient spells take a lot outta a mage." I yawned, hugging my pillow and stroking my face on it. "Mind if I stay the night?" Natsu asked as I quickly fell into a sleep state. "If you don't sleep in the bed." I mumbled before fully going to sleep.

Natsu's PoV

The last thing I heard Luce mumble was something about a bed. Maybe she wants me to sleep with her? I thought to myself and nodded, thinking that was utterly true and climbed in next to her. Not before taking off my vest and shoes and snuggled up to her back.
