Lucy's PoV
After we finished our cake, one slice each because Porli was worried I would get fat, she went to bed. "You're staying the night, right? I can't have you going home this late. But I did make your room a brewing room, so here's a blanket and pillow." She threw the items said, no remorse in her voice, and left the room. That's what I liked and looked up to her for, she didn't give a damn. Laughing softly, I went to the top of the stairs to where you could get to the branches of the tree, skillfully climbing through the stable ones as I had done this so many times. I tied the blanket, which I knew wouldn't break because Porli's sewing is unbreakable, to two branches, making a sturdy hammock. Looking up at the clear, starry sky, warm summer air blowing past me, I crossed my arms and laid my head comfortably on the familiar pillow I used to dream on. Just staring at the bright white, full moon lighting the night sky was enough to make me at peace, thinking back to everything that's happened since I found my brother. The memory of running away from him made me laugh lightly. Meeting everyone made me smile as brightly as the moon at the moment. The Mimics made me a little creeped out, looking around and slipping into the blanket more. Even Lyon's insane face put me in a bad mood. But then I remembered the Mountain God, Elsa, and what I had learnt, and I calmed down. With these images flashing through my mind, I ignored the fading pain in my stomach and slipped into the deepest sleep I've had in a long time.
Natsu's PoV
After traveling for a long, long time, we arrived at Porliusica's tree house, getting lost a few times because Erza insisted it was in those directions. Juvia collapsed against the house, taking of her boots and rubbing her sore feet. "Note to self, never listen to Erza's directions again." I cried, collapsing on my front. Probably worrying for his sister, Gray steps forward and start repeatedly knocking on the door, ignoring Erza picking me up by the collar and beating me for my comment. "What?!" Porliusica threw the door open, her hair up, green stuff on her face, and a fluffy bathrobe on. "I swear if you kids are here for that damn old man I'm kicking you all the way back to the guild." She threatened. It was obvious we interrupted her happy time. "Have you seen Lucy? She ran away from the guild and we don't have a clue where she is or why she went." Juvia jumped up at the witch's sudden outburst and blurted out our reason for being here, while I groaned in pain in the background. "The child came to me at nightfall. She just said she wanted to catch up and we did. She's in the leaves. Go up there and leave me alone." She slammed the door in our faces and we all looked to each other.
Suddenly, the dorm opened again. "Go through the house. I don't trust you to not fall and break something." Porliusica sighed and left the door open for us as she went back to bed. "Lock the door when you leave!" She shouted as Erza hesitantly entered. "I'm never going to get over how much she actually hates us." I stated, a little creeped out by the potions glowing in the dark with no idea where things are. "Lets just just find Lucy and get out of here. This place is scaring me." Juvia clings to Gray's arm as we carefully make our way to the window that has moonlight pouring through it, lighting our way. We could tell it was the way to the branches as that was the only thing the stairs was leading to.
Being the most excited to see her again, I ran forward and almost broke the window opening it. I jumped through it and held onto the thickest branch I could find. Not that far up, I could see an unnatural object and went to investigate. There, lying with a pained face, was Lucy, clutching her stomach. She was almost curled up, something poking out of her back as cold sweat ran down her face. Although she looked like she was dying, and I was utterly terrified, I could tell it wasn't bad. Some sort of instinct told me everything was going to be fine, and as the moonlight graced her face, her newly coloured white and purple hair seemed to glitter with some sort of magic. I held the branch over her with one hand, and with my other arm, I threw her over my shoulder. It wasn't the most graceful thing to do, but I couldn't do it any other way.
Quickly but with utmost care, I made my way back to the open window and jumped through it. "That was quick. Come on, lets get out of here before Porliusica comes back." Gray turned, acting not to care as he and Juvia went to the still open front do. I changed Lucy's position to carrying her bridal style and she seemed to have calmed the tiniest bit. "Is she okay?" ERza whispered, trying not to panic Gray as we began walking. "She's fine. But I think she's hiding something." I looked down at her body and saw a tear in the stomach area of her dress. Through it I could see something solid and red. "What do you think it is?" Erza asked as Lucy's body turned to lean on my arm, almost staring at me through her eyelids. I focused on her sweating, pained face, then back down to her stomach, which seemed to smell more spicy that the rest of her. "I don't know, but I might have an idea. Forget it for now, I'll ask her later." I stated and stayed quiet for the rest of the long journey that awaited us.
After saying what I had, I heard Erza whisper something. "You've grown up so much since she joined Fairytail. You're not as much of a child anymore.
