Sashas P.O.V

We were flying for what felt like hours, occasionally doing fun aerial maneuvers or just brushing up against each other, we hardly spoke during our flight, though it wasn't a awkward silence or anything, but a peaceful one, like we were simply enjoying each others company. I was practically in a trance, watching his beautiful, majestic dragon glide through the air, as if it belonged there, he held so much power, and was yet, so elegant. His voice broke me from my trance.

'Hey, I think we should stop here for a bit, we've been flying for a while, and I'm about starved, we can stop in that diner there, sound good?' He asked through our mind link.

'Sure, that sounds great, I'm getting a bit hungry too.' Then, for whatever reason, my stomach decided that would be the perfect moment to make the most ungodly sound I've ever heard.

He chuckled a bit, then replied, 'well, I guess it's settled then.'

We descended quickly into the nearby forest, and shifted back into our human forms where no one else would see us, and we quickly threw on the clothes that we had packed into our bags. I was wearing a simple black t-shirt, and jean shorts, with my favorite boots, and he was wearing a white t-shirt, with jeans, and tennis shoes. I gave him an amused look, finding his choice of clothing pretty funny, considering he was a king.

"Hey I'm not gonna dress up to impress a bunch of humans, besides, you think I like being all suit and tie all the time?" He asked as he walked by me.

I shrugged, "fair enough."

We then headed for the little diner about two blocks from us, personally I wish they had been a bit closer to the forest, I don't enjoy walking, and a couple people running at speeds that would put the worlds best athletes to shame, well, it'd look a bit weird.

We got to the diner to find it almost completely empty, thankfully, I really don't enjoy being around humans either, having to act all "civilized" I just find it annoying, though I'm not one of them who hates humans, I just don't find them to be very fun company is all. We sat down at our table, and when the waitress came up to us, I was nearly consumed with jealousy as she openly flirted with MY mate.

"Why hello sir, is there, anything I could get for you today?" She asked as she pushed up her presumably fake cleavage, if she did so any more, I swear her boobs would fall out of her shirt.

"Yeah, I'll take three of your sirloin steak meals, with a water." He stated plainly, man, I knew dragons could put it away, but three steaks?

"And you?" She asked, her tone losing it's flirtatious touch, and taking on a more bitter note.

"I'll just take a cheese burger and some fries." I replied in a obvious angry voice, hoping to get her to back off, I could tell that she was human, and I didn't wanna chance humans finding out about us, but man, her overall sluttieness was enough to piss me off, even if she wasn't flirting with my mate!

"Hmm, you know that stuff like that, goes right to your thighs, right?" She asked, obviously hoping to anger me even more, which she easily did.

"Okay, I don't know who you are, and really don't care, but you are obviously irritating my ma- uh, girlfriend, so why don't you bring us our food, before I call your manager?" Asked Samael, and her face turned blood red as she scurried off back behind the counter. It wasn't until then that I felt Samael's anger through our bond too.

"Sam, are you okay?" I asked in a hushed tone.

"Yeah it's just, I don't like it, when other girls try to flirt with me, it irritates you, and if you get annoyed, I can't help but get annoyed too."

"Awww, that's really sweet." I replied, I then reached over and laid my hand over his, hoping to calm him down, and luckily, it worked, replacing his irritated scowl, with a smile. He took his hand out from under mine, and pulled me closer to him, keeping his arm wrapped around me, sending those wonderful sparks through me like he always does when were together. We sat like that for about ten minutes before my food was brought to me, luckily, it was someone else this time.

"I'm sorry sir, yours will be just a bit longer." Apologized the waitress.

"It's okay, we've got time."

His food finally arrived after I had nearly finished my burger, and man, the way he ate would make you think that he'd been starved for a month! He finished all three of his plates, before I could finish one! With the way he ate it, he might as well have changed into his dragon right there in the diner and gobbled it up. We paid after finishing our meal, with him leaving a handsome tip, and we continued on our journey to my old stomping grounds, black moon pack. We flew for a few more hours before it finally came into view, the clearing that held the pack house, and the other, smaller houses, as well as the school, the mall, and the other little community buildings. Now, you might be wondering "how come no humans have ever found this place?" Well, that's because it is protected by a magical barrier, as are all pack lands, if a human tries to enter, they essentially walk right through the city, without ever seeing it. Think of it as having two portals, one on one side of the city, and one on the other, as soon as you step into one of them, you're on the other side of it, and it is completely invisible. You will have traveled quite a distance, but think that it was only one step, though in truth, it does get quite a few people lost.

We landed right in front of the pack house, earning quite a few terrified looks, as well as some more curious expressions. Most of the pack, having recognized me, were staring at Sam.

"Marcus! Camilla! Come out, I know you're in there!" I shouted, hoping to make a bit of a spectacle of myself, if they wanted something to stare at, I'd give them a show.

Sure enough, they came out of the pack house, my oh so loving mom and dad.

"Sasha, why don't we go inside and talk, the way things went before was, well, it didn't go very well." Stated my dad.

"No, I think I'd rather talk out here, I'd rather be outside rather than in that stuffy old house anyways." I replied, crossing my arms over my chest, just then, I felt Sam put his hand on my shoulder, and I looked to see him looking at me with a sad, yet serious face.

"Fine, we'll go inside." We all slowly walked back inside, as everyone around us began going back to their usual routine, now paying us all very little attention. Sam grabbed my hand, entwining our fingers, probably to keep me from ripping their heads off. We got inside, and it still looked exactly as it did when I left, but it still felt so different, like just me leaving changed the whole atmosphere of the house, it felt, cold. We got to my dads office, and we all sat down, my mom and dad sitting on one side of the desk, with Sam and I setting on the other.

"Sasha I-I'm so sorry, for saying what I did." Started Marcus, "I, was hoping we could make amends, I have decided that you will be allowed to be the alpha of the pack, even though you are not a wolf."

"Actually, I've decided I don't want the stupid alpha position, I'll be a bit busy anyways, wont I, Samael?" I asked as I turned to my magnificent specimen of a mate. Just then, my parents eyes got as big as saucers, they knew Samael by name, but had never met him, so they didn't recognize him.

"S-Samael? The dragon king?" Asked my mom.

Sam didn't say anything, he only nodded, probably trying to avoid scaring them, if they heard his voice, they would most likely be scared of him, all were-beasts can sort of hide their true power, it helps us blend better with humans, but, it's hard to keep your power out of your voice, and they would surely sense just how powerful he is, if he spoke.
