Chapter 14

Aaron had left to go get money out of the bank, so I was substituting him and locking up the cafe. It's already been so long since the Grand Opening, I'm surprised. I was about to finish up when I heard footsteps behind me. I perked up my ears and turned around, only to be shoved against the wall. I screamed for help but the first girl covered my mouth with her hand so no one across the road could hear me. They looked around as my eyes still blurred to see who it was. That's what I get for being slammed against a brick wall. They dragged me into the alley way that surrounded the cafe and looked at me. They let go and I finally saw who it was. I stared at shock. It was those girls who were hitting on Aaron the other day! I growled and flattened my ears against my head and puffed out my tail in anger. "What do you want?" they broke out laughing.

"Oh poor little pup, you really think you intimidate me with those stupid ears and tail?" I saw an opening to run, but I was in high heels, so how can I run. Of all days I had to forget my extra clothes! They saw where I was looking at and the first girl slammed her hand across my vision, blocking my path. I growled and glared at them.

"What do you want?" I asked again and this time the second girl smiled and grabbed my chin, forcing me to look her.

"You stole our dream boy, Mrs. Perfect, so you deserve a little pay back. When he sees how weak you are, he will have to date us. The perfect plan." I growled, hatred sparkled in my eyes, more than I had before.

"You both are so stupid! He's not that kind of guy that will date girls who beat up another just for his attention! He's taken so leave him alone!"

"SHUT UP" She kicked me in the stomach and I started chocking on the lose of air. They're strong. What am I going to do? I fell on the floor gasping for air and they continued kicking me. Tears fell out of my eyes from the pain, but I promised I wouldn't cry anymore, so i forced myself to stop and I braced myself kick after kick. It pained me and I had bruises and scraps on me. Now my maid outfit is ruined. Ripping every time they kicked me with their high heels I could never afford. I heard glass break, but I was on high alert from the beating that I think it's coming from a business somewhere else. They pulled my hair and tugged at my ears and tail. I heard sirens go off and the girls stopped. I looked up to see them staring at the maid cafe. I looked too and there it was, fire. Someone broke in and caused the fire. Tears built in my eyes and this time I couldn't stop it. I failed at everything. This is why i wanted to be stronger. "Let's go." The girls grabbed their bags and ran. I wiped away my tears but they wouldn't stop. I got up and walked to the front of the maid cafe with my torn outfit, one shoe, hole in my tights, messy hair, one ripped wolf ear and a limping, broken tail. I was also covered in scrapes and bruises. The air was still knocked out of me and I coughed a bit. I felt something wt and sticky leave my mouth and stared in horror at my hand. Blood. Memories flashed through me and the tears wouldn't stop as they rolled down my face like waterfalls. No. Why did I have to remember that. I heard sirens behind me and the fire department charged in, not questioning why i looked like I just fell off a cliff and climbed back up. "Kitty!" Oh my god, what happened to you?" I turned around and something small hit me and put it's arms around me.

"Aphmau..I'm fine, I was, attacked by cats when the fire happened, sorry.." I couldn't tell her the truth. I want to be strong. Or they'll take me back.

"Kitty.." She watched me smile as tears fell down my face.

"Really, Aphmau, I'm.... fine." She saw me hesitate on fine, but when she opened her mouth to say something, I shook my head and walked away, frowning at the ground. I wanted to go home.

"Kitty! Who did this to you? I'm so sorry for leaving you!" I looked up to see Aaron's shoulder as he hugged me. That's when I noticed, Aphmau and Aaron were meant to be, I never should've broken up their love. I sighed. "Did you do this?" He backed up from me in question. "Did you start this fire?"

"What? No! I swear I just got back!"

"You could've saved me but all you could've done was burn down our work place? You're not the FC I know." I glared at him, waiting for an answer. He had hurt in his eyes, but I couldn't bare to see it, so I walked passed him, accidentally shoving my shoulder against his as I walked passed. Tears streamed down my face as I walked passed him. I didn't feel eyes on me, so he must be staring at where I was. I hurt him. But he deserves to be with Aphmau... Not me.

So like, next chapter or the one after will be when your name is changed to Y/N and that's gonna be fun because I totally don't hate that name :D I'm doing this for you guys <3 Just know that. SO HAVE SOME FUN KIDS :P but FYI I'm not doing H/C H/L E/C, NO YOU DON'T GET TO DESIGN YOUR CHARACTER! That's where I draw LA LINE. But if you want you can, but I'm not. I don't like those 'design your character' characters. I'm only doing the name XD and that's it. BYE
