Chapter 18

<Aaron's POV>

I stared off the balcony, watching my parents' neighbors calling out for each other and cowering inside their houses. I remember my neighbors, my friends, being the weirdest group ever. Chasing cats, eating outdoor foods, and labeling nicknames to each other. I miss my neighborhood, I miss Kitty, but she doesn't miss me. I turned around and vanished inside my house. I grabbed my coat and headed towards the stairs. Maybe I'll go visit them. Agree to starting the fire? No. It wasn't me. I walked down the stairs, passing my mom who seemed deep in thought to notice me. I wonder what happened? Did our company lose a deal? An allie? Who knows, but it was odd and new, strange. I went to the coffee table to grab my phone, but it wasn't there. How will I know if Kitty texted me? Or called me? No she wouldn't. She was burning with rage last time I saw her... I guess I won't go after all... "Malissa? Have you seen my phone?"

"No.. do you want me to look for it?"

"That would help!"

<Aaron's Mom POV>

I stared at the screen. So Kitty is his girlfriend..I pressed block on her contact info and a shiver went down my spine. "That would help!" I heard Aaron from downstairs. When did he? No. Never mind. I went downstairs again and sat down, watching Malissa and Aaron searching for the phone as I deleted any pictures that had Kitty's person in it. These pictures disgust me, but I can't have my son, the future CEO of our corporation be tainted and held back by the girl. "Mom have you seen my phone?" I looked up and Aaron was watching me from afar. I hid his phone.

"No, I have not seen it. Why don't you give up? I'll buy you a new one."

"But it had all my photos and contacts of my friends and my girl-" he was interrupted by a thump on the ground. We both looked at the phone that fell from my shirt pocket. "M-My phone!" I gasped, reached for it, but only sighed when he picked it up first. He scanned the phone. "The pictures of her..they're gone!" He then checked his contacts, or from what I guess. "She's blocked? What's this? She said she missed me? Mom, how dare you?"

"Look, I can't have a stupid girl ruin your future of being the CEO of our corporation." I sighed, crossed my legs, and crossed my arms. He growled with rage at me.

"I'm not going to be the CEO of you call my girlfriend stupid. Good bye, mother." He reached for the door and left.

"I will be the CEO." I turned and looked at Malissa. We wanted a boy as the CEO, but Malissa is older and more mature than Aaron ever was.

<Y/n's POV>

I sat on the porch, hidden from the sun and the neighbors screaming and prancing around. Something in my pocket vibrated and I jumped as it vibrated me. Felt so weird.. I take out my phone in my pocket and see a text...from Aaron?

(Huehuehuehue I loved this scene so I just had to make an almost copy to get it up to this point cuz it was so adorable!!!!)

Huh? Where we first met..that's the college..but it's abandoned now, they ran out of money..so I'm breaking into my old school? But it's Aaron..UGH! Screw it! I got up and ran down stairs, grabbing my cat coat, threw it on, grabbed my keys and ran out, going to the familiar road of where my college was.

I stared at the familiar steps, now old and eroded. Graffiti was everywhere when I walked inside. Lockers either dumped, broken and stuck, or opened. Papers were everywhere. I stumbled upon the old art room and went inside. Paint was mixed into the beautiful, sky blue walls. I knocked on the middle door. No one. I walked inside. Still intact, nothing inside it. It was just how it was when I left it. I ran my fingers against the walls until I neared the left side of the room. I held my breath and clenched my fists. You can do this. He must be over in that room, like he used to. Tears fell down my cheeks, so I tried to keep the squeak ruin my voice. "What's wrong?" I had said when we had first met, so I had repeated those words. If you listened closely, you could still hear the squeak, blended in with the sadness.

"I came here to draw my sadness away, but I don't know how to draw." I laughed and fell silent, "I made my girlfriend sad, and I don't know how to fix it.." I smiled and more tears slipped down from my eyes. I didn't know he would answer, nor if he was there.

"Sure. In our honesty, I think I broke my boyfriend's heart because I accidently released my anger on him...I didn't know what to do. Anyways, we should work together, my name is Y/n."

"Y/n? I never knew that was your name! It's beautiful..I'm sorry Y/n.."

"No, don't apologize..it's my fault I didn't consider how you felt.." I smiled at the ceiling as my tears didn't cease to fall. I heard a door open and I shot up, opened the door and I saw a flash of black and before I knew it and could process it, Aaron gave me a big hug. I felt cold tears hit my shoulder. He was crying. I hugged him back and gave him the chills of my cold tears as well. He backed off, still crying, with his hands still holding mine. He opened his mouth to say something, but I interrupted him. "I'm so sorry I ignored you after lashing out to you..I don't think there's anything I can do to have you forgive my sin.." He smiled.

"I already forgave you, it's fine..I have gotten used to those things happening. I just.. don't want to see that face ever again, it terrifies me.." I chuckled a bit.

"You got yourself a promise."

"I'm still, so sorry."

"Stop apologizing you cry baby!" I smiled with tears of joy rolling down my face and at that moment,

he kissed me.
