Chapter 5

Emerald's POV

Emerald slowly woke up with a groan. Her body felt as if someone had smashed it into a tree then threw it into a lake to slowly die. "Ugh where am I.", she mumbled. She slowly sat up and took in her surroundings. Emerald was in plain white room with shiny wooden floors and a plain yellow colored wooden nightstand. She sat up and looked at the bed she was laying on. It had plain soft cotton sheets and a light blue blanket.

'How did I get here?' she thought. The last thing she remembered was letting loose that shockwave and that was it. Emerald slowly swung her feet out of the bed and looked down at what she was wearing. Her mud encrusted clothes faced her. "Great still covered in mud.", she grumbled. She stood up and froze when she heard footsteps approaching the door. Emerald narrowed her eyes at the plain white door when it suddenly swung open to reveal a boy about the age of 17. He had bright shining silver hair that was hanging over a pair of stormy grey eyes. The young boy smirked and then said, "Well, well, well look who's finally awake."

Emerald raised an eyebrow at his attire and tried to figure out what about it was bothering her. He had on a light grey unitard like suit with long slashes of what looked like large lines of silver string. Emerald frowned and met his eyes, "What's with the outfit?" He frowned and kept going on as if he had never heard her, "What's that? You wanna know my name... well if you insist.", he smirked. Emerald smiled right back at him, "Introductions? Fine, My name is Emerald." The boy flinched back a little at her voice but mostly because of her manic smile. "Hmm nice to meet you, My name is Jasper." Jasper smiled at her sincerely after his sentence.

"Well Jasper, maybe you can tell me what I'm doing here and how I got here?", Emerald sneered at him. Jasper just frowned a little, "Actually, I.. We were wondering the same thing." Emerald mouth tugged down in the slightest, " We?" Jasper smirked, "Yes we, now would you come with me." Emerald mulled over her options. 1) She could just kill everyone in here. 2) She could portal out. Or 3) She could go with him. She shrugged, "Oh well ,i have nothing to lose." She muttered. Jasper grinned, "Exactly."

With that they walked down a hallway and walked into a plain white room with five large wooden chairs around an ancient looking table. "Now we wait.", Jasper sat down and gestured to the table and chairs for her to sit down. Emerald sat down in the chair that was opposite. She was about to ask him something when two girls walked in

. They both looked to be about the age of 18. The first one was the tallest in the group of people. She had Light blonde hair with crystal blue eyes that lit up with anger when they landed on Emerald. She had a light blue spandex suit on that had various patterns on it that resembled snowflakes with black boots that were made of a light leather. The second girl that walked in had light auburn hair and bright crimson eyes. She had on an orange suit with bright red lines going through it that came to a stop in the middle of her chest with a brilliantly glowing crimson orb. The girl with The light blonde hair spoke first, asking the question that they all were wondering, "Who are you and what are you doing here?"
