Chapter 7

Authors note!!!!! ok guys im really sorry but you have to understand that im very lazy and repeatedly told myself that i was gonna update but never did.....and now were here. yeah took me that long to actually grab the laptop and check my book. guess my surprise when i saw that i had 300 something reads! thanks to all the people who have stayed with me along the way sooo heres your update as a reward! also VERY IMPORTANT THIS BOOK AND THE BOOK ORIGINS BY Shattered-Warrior GO ALONG WITH EACH OTHER!!! THE TWO BOOKS WILL CROSS OVER TOWARDS THE END OF THIS AND WILL CROSS SOON. THE SECOND BOOK WILL BE THE SAME BOOK BUT FROM THE CHARACTERS POINTS OF VIEWS FROM EACH STORY. WHEREAS Shattered-Warrior'S WILL BE FROM 10'S POV MINE WILL BE FROM EMERALD'S POV. YOU NEED TO READ BOTH ORIGINS AND THIS BOOK TO UNDERSTAND A TON OF THINGS (you don't have to but it helps you understand certain things. Not to mention Shattered is a much better writer than me. Edited 3/19/15) ALSO THE SECOND BOOK WILL BE THE SAME EXACT THING BUT DIFFERENT THINGS WILL GO ON DUE TO DIFFERENT CHARACTERS.

Chapter 7

Emerald chuckled to herself coldy thinking about how close to death the three teens had been. The snotty blonde turned and looked at her, "What are you laughing about?" Emerald just smiled at the poor girl. Mist flinched at the fact that the girl kept making creepy smiles and looked away from the horrifying sight. "Well we should probably go and test your abilities..", Mist trailed off. Emerald cocked her head and looked at the girl with her icy pale yellow eyes. "You know maybe I don't want to test my abilities." Mist scowled, "Since I already know them and can control them", she said with a knowing smirk at Mist. Mist seethed in rage and felt the temperature of the room starting to drop while the air got dryer by the minute. The girl with red eyes walked up to Mist and put a hand on the girls shoulder to which she just ripped it off. Mist turned on the girl while snarling in her face, "No Flare don't you dare try to calm me down!"

"This cocky jerk has no idea what she's talking about!" Mist swung on Emerald. "As for you I can control my powers just fine!",she yelled out. Emerald just stared deadly at the girl with golden hair but a not so golden heart. Emeralds mouth twitched in the slightest which was a frown for her. She knew these types all to well.

They'd use there hero egos going around getting guys or girls, then they would run at the sight of a fight. Mist seethed with anger as the room temperature slowly returned back to normal as she stormed out while saying to them in an annoyed voice, "Meet me in the gym if your strong enough to battle me." Then she walked out slamming the door behind her, right as Jasper/ Mercury opened his mouth to argue with her. After the door had slammed Emerald looked over to see Jasper sighing.

He turned to her and said, "Just please don't kill her", he mumbled out as he left the room along with the girl named Flare. Emerald just followed them out the door and into what she expected to be the gym. Emerald looked around taking in her surroundings.

The whole place was huge. It had various training courses laying around and metal equipment. Emerald saw light glinting off of something so she turned her attention to it. What she saw made her smile. If you could even call it a smile. Mist was standing in the middle of the gym in a small lit up area holding a long thin sword that was slightly blue. The whole room was dark except for the lit up area where Emerald walked up to Mist. Emerald cocked her head to the side and looked at Mist. "Are you sure you wanna do this?", Mist asked her with a sneer. Emerald just shrugged and replied, "Honestly I don't want to be here at all." On that note the room started to get dryer and a hazy white mist started to form around Mist. 'hmmm water powers... too easy' ,she thought. Mist made some extra water swirl around her sword then hardened and cooled it into ice. Emerad just shrugged at the toothpick and looked at the surrounding mist. Emerald walked closer to the edge of the ring using the mist to her advantage the whole time as she went. Mist watched her and slowly circled with her as she made her way around the ring of light. She finally got close enough to the shadows and melted into the shadows as if she was one.

Jasper let out a whistle as he watched Emerald disappear. "Well Flare, looks like the stripper has it bad this time."

ok i explained where ive been more or less in the AU at the top so i still feel bad about not updating sooner but his was my gift to you guys fro breaking 300 reads.  thank you so much guys. Btw  wish me luck on my exams this week guys! Me and Shattered will be working on getting this book and Origins updated so stay with us ^_^
