A month has gone by since Roslyn started her stay with the Morgan's and things have been great. They treat her like a regular teenage girl, moat of the times. Other times they treat her like she's some miracle they never want to lose.

As of late, they've been gathering up enough evidence against the Hamilton's and the city of Chicago's Police Department to give to the FBI. Roslyn is determined to put an end to their way of life before they are given another child to abuse they way they did her.

"Roslyn, honey, can you come down for a moment?" Felicity calls up from the bottom of the stairs.

"Yes. I'll be right down." Roslyn replies as she places her tablet, that she purchased herself, down onto her bed.

Quickly, yet calmly, Roslyn makes her way down the stairs and into the living area. Felicity and Daniel are both sitting in the couch with their hands folded in their laps and a worried look etched across their faces.

That instantly worries Roslyn.

"What's wrong?"

Felicity pats the space on the couch in front t of her. "Come, sit with us."

Roslyn crosses the distance between them and takes her place in front of them. Felicity reaches out to take her hand.

"Wow. Your hands are very warm. Are you feeling alright, sweetie?" She cups her cheek. "You're burning up." Felicity looks worried.

Roslyn takes her hand in hers. "I'm fine. My skin has always been very warm."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"I guess I've never noticed before." Felicity says before that same worried look from before stretches across her face. "Sweetie, we have to tell you something."

Roslyn swallows. She wouldn't jump to conclusions. She's learned that when one jumps to conclusions they tend to cause themselves, and others, to worry unnecessarily.

"Okay. I'm listening."

Felicity looks over her shoulder at her husband then back at Roslyn. "Well, sweetie, you've been living here with us for an entire month now. We love having you here but..."

"What is it? I've learned that it's best to just say what needs to be said instead of trying to find a way to ease it onto a person." Roslyn says, gently squeezing her hand. "So, please, tell me what it is you need to tell me."

Felicity swallows. "Daniel and I signed you up for public school. You start tomorrow." She says in a rush.

Roslyn, after a moment, smiles. "Were you worried I would be upset about such news?"

Daniel nods. "Well, sweetie, yes."

Roslyn tilts her head to the side to look at him. "Why?"

"You've never been to public, or private, school before. We didn't really know how you'd respond."
