***WARNING - SHORT CHAPTER***

The next few months with the Cullen's flew by. Everyone watched as Rosalie's stomach grew bigger and her heart fill with more and more love. They no longer saw the sad stricken vampire who would never have the opportunity to bare a child. No, that woman was replaced with a very happy and joy consumed mother-to-be who now had everything she could ever want. And that was all thanks to Roslyn Hale.

"How do you feel?" Roslyn asked her as she moved to sit beside her on the couch.

Rosalie smiled. "Pregnant."

Roslyn chuckled. "I'm sure. How does it feel being pregnant for the first time?"

Rosalie smiled big up at her. "Surreal. I feel like I'm dreaming, like at any moment, I am going to wake up and realize that this is a dream."

Roslyn reached out and placed her hand on hers. "You're going to be a mother, Rosalie. Nothing and no one can take that away from you."

Rosalie smiled and turned her hand over and gently squeezed it. "None of this would be happening if not for you. You gave me the greatest gift I could have ever been given. I will never, ever, forget that."

"Rosalie, please, stop. You deserve to be a mother. You don't have to thank me everyday. I was honored to be able to gift you the ability to have a child."

Rosalie pulled her into her arms. "Still, thank you."

Suddenly, Roslyn got a bad feeling in her stomach and gently pulled away from the woman she had began to sed as a sister.

"Ross, what is it?" She asked.

"Something isn't right. I - I have a bad feeling that something's about to happen and I won't like it."

The living area suddenly filled with all if the members of the Cullen family, all surrounding Roslyn.

"Alice, do you see anything?" Emmett asked his sister as he stood protectively in front of his pregnant wife and Roslyn.

Alice shook her head. She couldn't see anything and that bugged her. She hated being blind. "Nothing."

Home.

"I need to go home. Now!" She screamed suddenly.

"We'll take you. Let's go." Carlisle said as he grabbed his car keys from the bowl on the table.

"Get the keys, Emmett." Rosalie said as she pushed to her feet.

Roslyn turned around so fast that they almost missed it. "No. You stay here. You too, Emmett."

"What?" Emmett boomed.

"We're coming with you." Rosalie hissed.

Roslyn shook her head. "No, you're not. You're human and pregnant. I won't have you risking your life or the life of your child to help me." She said before she turned to Emmett. "I need you to stay here just in case anything happens. I don't want her alone."

"What if you need me?" He asked.

"I won't. You're all human now, with a small minimum of your vampire abilities available to you." She pointed out. "I can't risk anything. Besides, I have a bad feeling, not a fatal or dangerous one."

Emmett pulled her into his arms. "I love you. Be careful."

"I will." She said and disappeared from his view.

It didn't take them long to reach the house due to Carlisle driving like a man on fire. As soon as the car came to a stop, Roslyn jumped out of the car and was running to the front door before anyone else stepped out of the car. She pulled out her keys, unlocked the door and pushed it open. She didn't bother shutting the door with the Cullens close behind.

"Mom? Dad?" She called out.

"In here, sweetie." Felicity responded.

When Roslyn rounded the corner into the living room, her breath caught in her throat, her blood ran cold and she stiffened. She didn't know what to do or what to say as she stared at the woman that sat in the chair across from the only other people who have been like a mother and father to get since her parents died.

"Hello, Roslyn." The woman said.

Roslyn swallowed. "Donna."
