Roslyn stood before the Cullen family prepared to reveal to them what she'd already revealed to Emmett. She thought she'd be nervous about revealing the truth to the rest of the Cullen Hale Family but she wasn't. She was as calm as she always is.
"Sweetie, what did you want to show us?" Esme asked softly with curious eyes.
"The real me. You've all been honest with me about who you are and i think it's only fair that I do the same." Roslyn stated.
"Roslyn, sweetie, you don't have to do this if you're not ready." Carlisle said.
Roslyn smiled at him. "Thank you, Dr. Cullen, but I do. It's only fair that I share my secret with you and your family as you've done with me."
Before anyone else could speak, Roslyn closed her eyes, took a big breath and le it out. She could feel herself changing, so she opened her eyes.
Everyone based and stared at her with open mouths, dropped jaws, and wide eyes.
Again, like before with Emmett, her eyes were pitch black, her skin was deathly pale, lips nearly ruby red, her hair was no longer long and black but long and white, and her arms were wrapped in weird black tattoos.
And like Emmett, they could not tare their eyes from her. She was breathtaking. Even more so than her human form which was saying something because Roslyn is one of the most beautiful humans they've ever met.
"Oh - wow." Carlisle said in awe as he pushed to his feet and moved to stand directly in front of her. "I've never seen - or met - any one like you before."
He slowly lifted a hand to her cheek and gasped at the sudden warm shock wave that shot down his arm and through his entire stature.
"Dr. Cullen, no!"
But it was too late. The damage had already been done.
Everyone watched in shock as Carlisle Cullen's skin went from deathly pale, to a rosy color. He no longer looked like the beautiful walking dead but a very alive and well looking man.
"Carlisle?" Esme gasped.
Carlisle looked down at his hands, staring wide eyed at the new color pigmentation of his skin, then turned to his wife.
"How - how do you feel?" He asked.
Carlisle gasped and his hand flew to his chest at the sudden thumping rhythm coming from the cavity in his chest that had not moved in over three hundred years.
"Human." He gasped.
Everyone looked to Roslyn with wide, and curious, gazes.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to turn you human, Dr. Cullen." She gasped.
Rosalie stepped closer and Roslyn took a step back. "You can - you can turn vampires human?" She asked with hope in her voice and in her eyes.
Roslyn nodded. "It's a defense mechanism. Anytime someone, that is not human, touches me when I'm in this state, they are stripped of their abilities and their supernatural DNA," she stated softly. "They are rendered vulnerable. It allows me to defend myself."
