SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!! I do not call myself a "Girl Gamer." I love playing video games, but I will not be that girl who is like. "I play Call of Duty with my brother sometimes and I LOVE Guitar Hero" That is fucking stupid, I do play video games but I am not a "gamer."
Now that I've said that let's jump into the chapter. WHY DO PEOPLE THINK THAT GIRLS DON'T PLAY VIDEO GAMES?!!? I don't understand it. Literally I went through so many videos and still didn't find one about this topic; well I did but that is another discussion. It's true, most video games are targeted to boys boys but that doesn't mean girls don't play them; or they don't appeal to girls. It's a stereotype. A shitty one at that, and people actually follow it. Why can't there be good stereotypes like "All black people don't talk with incorrect grammar" or "Not all white people can't dance" (sorry I that was a double negative making it a positive but I can't think of a better way to say it) Huh? I think that it's stupid we follow stereotypes like a fucking bible. So let's put an end to it. If your a girl, try playing video games (I can try to make a list if someone wants one) and if your a boy who plays video games suggest some of your favorites to you friends that are girls or your sister(s) if you have one(or multiple).
