I wish that could be a joke. I wish it didn't matter what you played with, I wish that things like most Barbies being white toothpicks didn't make kids think they looked wrong, I wish the media didn't show blonde hot dogs as "hotties" when no one looks like that unless they got a bad spray tan. I'm not trying to be a b*tchy ashole but seriously who looks like the girl above.
And look at the new Barbies:

You know, that "black" one isn't new right? She is just more forefront now. I got her back in 2013. That was 6 years and 2 months ago. (It was Christmas) Every Barbie I have looks somewhat like that, I have one who looks like she could have come from Africa. Incase you're unaware people from Africa don't look like Cady from mean girls or this:

And my doll looked a little like this with more "appropriate" clothes:

I also have 3 of the same doll so I pretend their triplets, and I have so many more so nobody can actually say there wasn't at least a little diversity before. That is not me defending Mattel because when I go into the toy section at Target (I do that. I still like dolls. don't judge me) I should look and see people who look like me, and my friends, and everyone around me. Not just one race.
Did you know there are kid barbies? Like not Chelsa, little kids. Like 6, there was a boy. Now I'm not sure about "white" dolls because my mom and dad always got me dolls that, at least in skin color, looked like me; but there was a little boy kid doll named Julian. I have him, he's in a bucket with all my other dolls (about 100 including 18 inch dolls, and Monster High, and Ever After High, and 21 inch dolls, and Tween Dora Dolls {You know she's not new, she came out awhile ago but didn't blow up like the little kid}) so I can't take a picture, and I can't find him online alone but heres him with some other people.

He is really rare. But why isn't he forefront, clearly Mattel is trying to go with this whole "change" thing we need, shouldn't gender roles go with that? I have like 3 "black" boy dolls and my brother enjoyed playing with me (never with the girls, but it's a start) so it's not like boys wouldn't. It just needs to be presented to them, but it's not. And when they do they get called "gay" or "faggots" by their peers damaging their self-esteem. So, to keep themselves from damage, they don't play with dolls. Or do things considered "girly" after their about 6 because kids are mean.

Is the only thing beautiful? How can you call Queen Bey that or Zendaya, Zenslaya when all you have around them are people like them. (Above) You could say, "What about Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Michael Jackson, Alessia Cara?" And here is my response:
Dear Random Person who Said that,
Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato look white. I love Demi, I am well aware she's not (she's either Hispanic or Latina I think) and Selena Gomez is cool and all (she, according to imdb is Mexican Italian) but that doesn't change how they look. Michael Jackson had a skin lightening disease which lightened him quite a bit, he then got plastic surgery and his skin bleached making him go from clearly "black, to looking mixed, to looking white. It wasn't 100% him but still he made himself look like a ghost. (no offense pale people you look good {probably what do I know? other than Nico and apparently a friend of mine but she doesn't look pale to me...} I just don't like purposely changing yourself) Alessia Cara? Are you aware of her race? I'm not being rude it's just she's not that diverse. Italian people (she's Italian {and from Canada} if you didn't know) aren't really a minority in regards to being a celebrity. (probably because their good looking) Anyone else for me to cover? I might not even be able to say anything. (that's big for me)
I don't have anything else to say. *shocked gasp* Yes I'm as surprised as you! Bye demigod(ess)s, god(ess)s, and mortals! *waves goodbye*
