Exactly two days' pass before Mibuchi Reo arrives.

Two days of Sei smiling like the sun again.

Two days of soft touches.

Two days for Kuroko to relax again.

Two days of calm, quiet, and peace.

Exactly two days.

Then Mibuchi Reo arrives.

It's Sunday, just after noon, when a loud and excited knock rouses Kuroko and Seijurou from their quiet weekend. Kuroko is on the couch, enjoying the book he took out from the library a day ago. Seijurou is in his chair, reading one of Kuroko's favourite books. It's the kind of domesticity that makes Kuroko feel warm all around. The two of them never tried to recreate their moment in the kitchen again, but Kuroko is happy enough to be comfortable with Sei again.

Both of them look up when they hear the knock at the door and share a momentarily confused glance. Then Seijurou closes his book and sighs deeply. Kuroko sits up, bookmarking his page and moving to get up from the couch.

"I'll get it." Sei says, motioning for Kuroko to stay. Seijurou walks around the couch to the door. Kuroko get's up anyway, following behind the familiar but staying a distance away while he answers the door.

Seijurou unlocks the door and pulls it wide open, revealing a very stylish looking older man. Kuroko recognizes him right away, regardless of the significantly different style of clothes and sunglasses the witch is sporting now. The witch smiles widely as his eyes land on the familiar. He pulls off his sunglasses and raises his arms excitedly.

"Sei-chan!!" He calls Seijurou by his nickname and practically jumps into the familiar's arms. Reo wraps his arms around Sei's neck in a tight hug. Kuroko watches in surprise as Sei gives another small sigh before smiling softly at the witch.

"It's good to see you as well, Reo." Sei says, placing one hand on the witch's hip and the other on the door handle so Reo doesn't knock them over.

"I missed you so much Sei-chan! You never stay after the Coven meetings and I get so lonely without you!"

Sei reaches up and places his hand on the witch's shoulder, tapping him to get the taller man to let go.

"Alright, alright. Please settle down now." Sei tries to ask politely. Reo loosens his hold on the familiar, but only so he can hold Sei by the shoulders and look him over.

Reo smiles widely. "I was so happy to get your call! It's been so long since we've last met up!"

"I didn't call you for social or personal reasons, you know that." Seijurou says, now physically lifting Reo's hands off of him. "You do remember why I called you, right?"

"Of course, of course! They're in there." Reo points over his shoulder to a small suitcase sitting just outside the door.

While Sei steps over to grab the bag, Reo turns his attention onto Kuroko. He smiles to him, hooking his sunglasses over the front of his shirt.

"Kuroko Tetsuya." He says Kuroko's name calmly. The bow Reo gives his lacks in any formality. Reo watches him the entire time he's giving Kuroko the required greeting. It gives Kuroko that unsettled feeling again. "It's a pleasure to actually meet you. I'd thought I'd go my whole life only hearing stories about you and never actually seeing you."

Sei closes the door behind Reo and wheels the suitcase inside. He frowns a bit at Reo's greeting before looking up at Kuroko. Kuroko watches the witch for a moment, not knowing what to do.
