Weeks later. I thought that night would be the last night I'll see Alonso. But I was wrong. Even I tried my best to avoid him.
He gets my number to Mom and always keep bothering me. He's asking me out and I'm making every excuses.
But now. There's no saying of excuses. He is right in front of me. Asking my mom if we can go out.
Mom as a shipper of Alonso and me, said yes. If she only know that Thirdy has a girl.
I took a bath for minutes and dress up. I'm wearing a royal blue T-shirt and jeans. I tied my hair into a messy bun. I also wore a faked eye glasses.
"We're going Mom." Thirdy said.
"Take care both of you." She wave.
"We will." He answered and wave back.
I sighed.
"Good-bye Mom." I kissed her cheeks and follow Thirdy outside.
On the way he's just telling me things and I only answered Yes or No or a nod. I don't want to talked to him. It feels that if I talked to him I'll fall at the hole where he can't save me.
It's night when we arrived home.
"Thank you Thirdy." I laughed.
I can't help to talked to him. He has this energy that I can't resist.
"You're always welcome. See you tomorrow." He winked at me.
"Tell Tita that I have to go." He immediately go inside his car.
"Good-bye." I wave.
He wave back and started the car.
I turn to face the entrance when I saw Mom smiling.
"Hi Mom. Goodnight." I kissed her and immediately walk to my room.
"So what now? Did Thirdy making his moves?" Mom said teasingly.
"He have a girl and never gonna happen that to 'us'." I closed my doors.
This day feels like a second. Good thing he doesn't talk about his girl, today. If he did I'll go home alone and make an excuses.
Tomorrow I'll go to the next island. It's harvest day of the week, I mean I'll pick up shells and sold it online.
The next day of it would be a festival here in Barrio. A cooking festival.
I asked Tommy if he wants to join he said he will, for his wife. They're lucky because God still giving his wife a chance to live, but I know soon He will need her in His kingdom. But I hope not the soonest.
It's a tiring day, today.
I woke up 4 in the morning.
I hurriedly do my rituals and slowly went out, without making any noise.
I took the last boat going to the Island.
"Hi Mang Ador. Good morning." I greeted him.
I'm not the only passenger. There are some kids and teens too.
"Oh, It's been a long time since I last seen you." He said.
"I'm sorry, just busy at work." I explained politely.
The travel is about for an hour. The waves are big that's why we need to slow down.
Finally we're here. I have brought some foods and kits prepared by Mom yesterday.
"Thank you Mang Ador." I cheerfully said.
I jump out of the boat as he helped me.
"Will you just be here by the shore?" He asked.
