It's only five in the morning and I'm wide awake. I walked to our balcony and saw mom planting shrubs.
Our garden is full of different colors, because of Mom's hobby. She's a great interior designer. She's well known during their time. I'm happy that she still have her passion.
If one day Mom fall in love, once again. I wouldn't say no. I'll just let her fall. I have no problem having another father. Because Dad, will always be my Dad.
"Mom! You are too early again. Come inside! Take a break, let's drink hot cocoa." I shouted.
She looked at me with amusement.
"You are the one who's early. Where are you going?" I saw her raised a brow.
The sea breeze touches my skin. I can also hear the waves on the shore, it's like inviting me to come over and feel it.
It's been a week since I walked to the shore.
"I'm going to see the sun rise mom." I smiled and give the cup of hot chocolate milk.
"Okay take care. Bring a jacket." I nodded.
I welcomed the sun with a smile.
I feel the breezes touching my skin and let it blows my hair. The sea is calm, so the people are. I hate it when there's a storm, it will leave a great fiasco for weeks.
I saw some little kids picking shells. Innocence. I smiled. I miss being a kid. I also miss Agatha. I wish wherever she is, she's fine and doing great.
The party would be later, it will held into a restaurant that they owned.
The time really flies so fast.
I'm currently at home preparing for the party. Rex drove me home. Penny left at the cafe with a new girl employee.
"You ready?" Mom asked.
I nodded, as I checked my reflection in the mirror.
I'm wearing a white off shoulder dress. I paired it with a pearl earrings and a red ruby pendant .
"You look beautiful but there's something missing. Put on a lip tint, you looked pale" She compliment.
I nodded and put a lip tint.
"Just like you Mom." I saw a hint of loneliness behind the smiles she gave me.
I went near her and gave her a tight hug.
No matter what happens she's still my Mom, and Dad would stay my dad.
We're done of our little drama.
Mom drive us to the party
When we arrived at the venue I can feel my heart pounding fast. I also feels insects inside my stomach. I'm nervous.
Oh God help me.
I took a deeper breathes to calm myself. Near the entrance I saw Leonora and Alonso Hidalgo II. They gave us warm smiles when our eyes met.
Mom and I headed to them.
"Lianne, It's nice to see you again." Tita Leonora said.
"You acted like we don't see each other for so long." Mom kid and they laughed.
"Is this Lia? She's a beauty, you raised her well." My cheeks heated because of the sudden change of topic.
"Good evening Tita, Tito. It's nice too see you again. It's been a long time. You two look younger than before." I took there hands and 'nagmano', it's a sign of respect to the elders in the Philippines.
